Mason had found that he had again nothing planned to do with his day, he was planning on going partying later at one of the many clubs in Miami but he now had the problem of finding something to do with the in between time. He didn't really want to just sit around doing nothing. After a moment, Mason changed into some clean clothes and decided that he could just go for a walk, it would at least pass some of the time and Mason wanted to get some fresh air anyways. Grabbing his Iphone and keys, Mason headed out, taking a left at the corner of the street and heading for the park, there wasn't really anywhere else to go fro a walk, and walking round the streets wasn't really what mason wanted to do. Plugging his headphones in, Mason quickly adjusted the hat that he was wearing, before he switched the track. After a few moments, Mason came to the entrance of the park, he stepped out the way of some joggers, before heading in and letting his blue eyes sweep over the park for a moment, before picking out one of the gravel paths to follow for a little while. Yawning, Mason looked ahead and saw a bench coming up, deciding to sit down for a bit, Mason lowered himself onto the bench once he had reached it. The park was pretty empty, Mason guessed that was cause it was still pretty early in the morning for people to be out. Mason drifted of into his thoughts fro awhile, thinking about randoms stuff, but his trail of thought was broken when he herd footsteps walk along the path and then come to a stop just a little way in front of him. Mason hit the pause button on his Iphone, before lifting his head and letting his ice blue eyes rest on the person that had stopped in front of him.

Another boring day with nothing to do. The clubs were boring lately with no friends to get drunk with. The beach was no fun without a hottie to slather sunscreen on. Nothing was fun without a friend. Calli couldn't believe it. She had always said to herself that she didn't need a friend. She didn't need anyone to be exact. All she needed was herself, some alcohol, and a guy to have some fun with. That was it. The day was hot so Calli had slid into some denim shorts, a tight white tube top, and strappy silver heels. She pulled her lime green iPod from her pocket and, placing the ear buds in place, tuned into her all time favorite song, Fer Sure by the Medic Droid. Muttering the lyrics under her breath, she clicked her way through the park, flitting out of the way of some runners, turning the music up as she passed by the sandbox where noisy little kids screamed in delight. She looked up and saw a bench coming up and a semi-cute guy was sitting down, bobbing his head to music. With a smirk, she gave her hair a toss and pulled her top down some. She turned the music down and clicked her way towards the boy. She stood in front of him and said, "Hey there. I'm Calli."

Mason lent back on the bench once he had sat down, and got lost in random thoguhts as he listened to the music that was blasting from his Ipod, he'd still not figured out why eh hadn't actually planned to do anythign today, msot of the time he always had something palnned, but today all hsi friends seemed to be to busy doing other stuff, which left him stranded on his own, to try and find somthing to do with his time. His thoguths were broken when he saw that someone had stopped in front of him. With his ipod switched off now, Mason lifted his ehad to see who it was in front of him. His icy blue eyes came to rest on the brunette that had come to a stop in front of him. He smield slightly as she introduced herself to him straight away, "Oh hey, I'm Mason". Mason shifted slightly on the bench for a moment before looking back at Calli, "So you want to sit down?" Mason asked, trying to figure out why she would have stopped in front of him, and his first guess was that she wanted to sit down on the bench.

Calli pulled the ear buds from her ears and wrapped them around her iPod, sliding it into her pocket again. She smiled down at Mason and plopped down beside him. "Thanks." She looked around for a second, trying to think of something to say. She turned towards him and stared him in the eye with her dark brown eyes. "So, boring day, huh?" She silently punished herself for sounding so stupid. She didn't show it on her face. No, instead of biting her lip like she wanted to, Calli smiled widely and flipped her hair. As nerves gnawed at her stomach with icy teeth, she tapped her fingers on the bench. Never before had she been so nervous about talking with someone! What was going on with her? She told herself, Relax, stupid. Miami is just like New York, just hotter with a bigger pool. She waited for Mason to reply.

Mason watched as Calli took er headphones out and wrapped them around her ipod, before taking a seat enxt to him on the bench. "No problem" Mason smiled slightly when he herd her say thanks to him. His eyes drifted away from Calli for a moment, as he looked back out across the park looking at the random people that were walking around. His attetion was brought back to Calli when she started tot alk to him again, he laughed slightly when he herd what she said and nodded hsi head. "Yeah it does seem like its a pretty boring days, but i'm hoping it'll get better at some point" Mason smiled, before flicking some of his hair out of the way of hsi eyes. "So what brought you to the park, you here to meet someone?" Mason asked, as he adjusted how he was sittig slightly, before he looked back across to Calli.

Calli was still confused, wondering why she was so worried about what the people here in Miami thought of her when she didn't care about that in NYC. It made her so frustrated and she felt like she wanted to curl into the fetal position and suck on her thumb. Deep down, she wanted her only true friend, Amelia. But she knew that Amelia was long gone and they would never see each other again. She picked at a loose splinter of wood on the bench when she heard Mason speak again. Calli smiled and said, "No, I'm just hanging. Looking for new friends. You here to meet someone?" She looked back down to her bare, tan thighs, her beautiful knees, and her crossed feet, the sun making the silver heels shine like a pretty penny.

His thoughts were on partying later, Mason pretty much did that with most of his nights, he would end up doing a trip to all the nightclubs in Miami with some of his freinds, they usuaally ended up having good times, though sometimes it was a little hard to remeber what happened the day after. Masons attetion was on Calli again as she told him that she was just hanging around, looking fro new friends. Mason smield softly and nodded his head, "Sounds good, and I'm sure you'll be able to make some new freinds, and if you want you can add me to the list" Mason laughed slightly as he looked across at Calli. "No I'm jsut trying to waist some time really, all my friends are supposedly busy at the moment" Mason shurgged, he would jsut have to find other ways to occupy himself until the partying started.

Stop. Whoa. Back it up. Did Mason just say he was her friend?! Wow. Calli was stunned. She didn't know making friends was so easy. While Mason was talking, she was busy clearing her mind. She had a sudden rush of joy and she smiled to herself. She liked it. A friend. Wow. She looked over to Mason and said, "I see. I see." She thought for a moment, not wanting to ruin her new found friendship. "So, what is there to do here in Miami? I know the beach, the clubs, the mall, but what does everyone do for fun? Get drunk? Go to church? What?" She knew that in New York City, everyone went to Starbucks in the morning, work in between that and the afternoon, grabbed lunch at a chick cafe, then partied the rest of the day away. If that was the way Miami worked, she thought, then it will be a piece of cake.

Mason guessed coming to the parkw asn't such a bad idea now, he'd met someone that seemed like they could turn out to be a good friend, so that seemed like a plus to Mason. His blue eyes looked over at Call and a smiled played across his lips as he listened to what she was saying, and then he laughed when he herd the part about church on the end of her sentance. "Well honestly i think you cover what people do with the beach, and clubbing, thats well you'll find most people here in miami" Mason told Calli, most people came to Miami for the beach and party scene and Mason defintly understood why the place was pretty great at those two things. "I mean people do other stuff aswell but here in Miami partying and going to the beach is waht most people do" Mason said, as he looked at Calli.

Calli smiled back at Mason. She thought of the beach. It wasn't the way people in Florida thought of it, though. She thought of it as the way she had seen it on TV. She only saw what the television show producers wanted you to see. Hot beach-goers, hot sun, hot times. She really wanted to go to the beach and she was sure it showed on her face. She said, "Oh, well, that I'm used to. Except, of course, the beach. Never been." She looked around again. The park was more crowded now and there were more screaming kids. "So, do you got any plans for tonight? If not, we can go clubbing and meet some people." She really wanted someone to go clubbing with who could introduce her to new people. Mason seemed like the right kind of person.

Mason ran a hand through his hair for a moment before his hadn fell back to his side, he was pretty happy to live in Miami he couldn't really see any downsides to it, the place had everything yuo needed to have a good time. Mason was slightly surprised when he herd calli say that she had never been to the beach, she had to be the first person he had met in Miami that had not gone to the beach, "Ah well you defintly need to go there sometime, its good fun" Mason nodded slightly, he normally went to the beach alot during the week to hang out with friends and do some surfing. Mason herd what Calli was saying about partying later and he smiled and nodded his head, "Well i did plan on partying, so if you want we can go together and i'll show you some of the good clubs in Miami" Mason said as his bluee yes looekd to Calli, he would look forward to having someone new to party with.

Calli nodded. She was most definitely going bikini shopping later. She'd hit the beach up sooner or later, hopefully sooner. Her head was swarming with images of what she would do at the beach-get an ice cream cone from Marble Slab, boogie board, go to a late bonfire, and swim with dolphins like they did on TV. "I will soon. Probably tomorrow." She smiled at Mason. "Okay, cool." She wondered if he was as wild as her, getting high with random people, screwing a random person, just doing random sh*t. Calli felt her heart beat go up at the thought of clubbing. She freaking loved it. She loved the burning of tequila going down her throat, the feeling of sweat trickling down her body while screwing around, the blisters on her feet from dancing.

Mason nodded his head when Calli said that she would go to the beach soon, "Thats a good idea, its always good fun to hang out there" Mason nodded, there was plenty of good stuff to do when you were at the beach. Mason smiled when Calli agreed to go partying with him later. "Sounds good then, i'll make sure that we have a good time" Mason told Calli, he was pretty pumped up to go partying later now. Mason glanced away for a moment, as he thought about partying now, "Any particular time you want to meet up?" Mason asked as he looked back to Calli.

Calli smiled and she jiggled her wrists gently, the throbbing blood in her veins somewhat annoying. She said, "Yeah, I can't wait to go now. I'm fer sure going to boogie board." She laughed softly. "Great! It'll be fun!" She flexed her fingers, getting excited as she thought about partying again. "Um, I don't know, six or seven good?" She thought about what outfit she should wear clubbing tonight. Slutty or good girl with a taste of demon in her? She sighed as she began to think of the possibilities with her wardrobe.

Mason smiled when he herd what Calli said about getting a boggie board when she went to the beach. "Sounds like a good idea, boogie boarding is normally good fun" Mason nodded slightly, he'd boggie boarded a few times, but was more into the surfing part of it. The thought of partying really had gotten Mason pretty excited now, he liked that he was going to get to party with someone new now. Mason lisened to the time that Calli suggested to him, "Sure six sounds good to me" Mason smiled slightly, getting to the clubs early to beat the queues was always a good idea. Mason stretched out his legs slightly, as his yes drifted over the park again for a moment. "So what you going to do for the rest of the day?" Mason asked, he wasn't to sure how he was going to waste the time until they went partying.
