Danny wasn't really all that sure what he was going to do with his day, but he guessed going for a walk probably wouldn't be all that bad. Taking a quick shower, Danny grabbed some clean clothes, before spending five minutes searching for his cell which he had habit of misplacing at the moment. Once he'd finally located his keys and cell, Danny headed out of the house, and started on the short walk to the park. Walking past a coffee shop, Danny's green eyes glanced in, and decided that a morning coffee wasn't a bad idea. Two minutes later with coffee in hand, Danny finally made it to one of the entrances to the park. The weather wasn't so bad which Danny was happy about, he didn't like the idea of being caught in the rain in the middle of the park. Stepping around a group of people, Danny started to follow a random path that cut through the park, letting his mind wander for a little bit thinking about random stuff.
Danny considered texting one of his friends to see if they wanted to meet up and do something, but decided that he'd probably do that a little bit later, some time to think wasn't such a bad thing really. Drinking some of his coffee, Danny's green eyes wandered around the park, taking in all the other people that where around, none of them looked like people he knew, so Danny just went back to looking down at the path he was following. Danny thought about random stuff but soon got bored of it all so pushed it to the back of his mind and just carried on walking slowly.
The park seemed to be pretty empty, but Danny guessed it was still pretty early for people to up and out, but when you had nothing better to do like Danny it seemed that coming here wasn't all that bad at all. Lifting his coffee cup up, Danny drank a little more, glad that the caffeine was finally starting to kick in, but he still felt pretty tired. Pulling his cell from his pocket, Danny checked to see if anyone important had sent him a message, but his in-box was empty and there were no voice-mails, putting the cell back into his pocket, Danny just figured most of his friends were still lazying around in bed or something. Dropping his eyes again, Danny looked down at the path he was following.
As he was walking around the corner Danny wasn't really paying all that much attention to what was in front of him, until he felt someone walk right into him and send his coffee cup to the floor. "Crap.." Danny muttered, as his eyes looked down at the spilt coffee. This defiantly seemed like Dannys luck, to just walk into someone and lose his coffee. Deciding the coffee was defiantly lost, Danny lifted his head again and let his blue eyes fall onto the person that he had walked into, and would now have to apologize a lot to, he could imagine that they thought he was a complete idiot, and well they probably weren't wrong, but Danny would prefer it if they didn't think that of him. Sighing, his green eyes finally came to rest on the person that he had walked right in to.

Gorgeous day, not so gorgeous wardrobe. Wasn't it just Wynter's luck that all her nice clothes had been thrown in the wash? Oh well, it wasn't like she wanted to parade around in dirty clothes anyways. For now she was stuck in a pair of plaid short shorts and rather small white tank top, it was annoying nonetheless. The one day she wanted to get out and about and she looked like a skank. She muttered a few words under her breath as her mother walked into the living room. "My, my, Wynter, I hope you don't intend to go outside like that," she preached. Wynter flashed her a small, unpleasant frown. She gestured toward a zip-up sweater.
"Well I have that," she mumbled. Her mother sighed and took a glance at the sweater. It look rather warm, and it could probably make her appear less of a "slut" while going outside. "Besides, who said I was even going out?"
"Well you have your shoes on... I was just assuming you were going out for a stroll or something?" her mother questioned in her typical melodic voice. Wynter shrugged, she glanced down at her skater shoes. She had completely forgotten about them. Perhaps she had put them on with the intent to go out for a walk to the park or something.
"Maybe," she replied briskly. She honestly didn't feel like talking... not to her parents anyways. She reached toward the table to grab her cell phone, which was usually a signal to her mother she wanted to be left alone. Like a trained dog, her mother recognized this as a sign and left the room. Triumphantly, Wynter set her cell down beside her and extended her legs on to the glass coffee table. She was debating whether or not to take a walk. It was just an innocent walk, it wouldn't harm anything or anyone. Besides, it wasn't like she was going to take an extremely long walk and be gone until midnight. So, her mind was made up, a little fresh air would do her good. Standing up, she snatched her hoodie and her cell phone and made her way to the door. "Mom, I'm going out!" she hollered, not bothering to wait for a response, it was just a fast pace walk to the park, what would be the harm?
The city air was somewhat clear today, and it was actually kind of cold, it was definitely a good idea she brought her sweater. Wynter quite enjoyed the fact that she lived quite close to the park, it was perfect for days that she wanted to relax in a natural-looking environment. She was also quite content that she lived near a coffee shop. She took a momentary pause outside of the quaint cafe and examined it. She was obviously determining if she wanted a coffee or not. Finally, she shrugged and continued her walk. Not today. Not only did she forget her wallet, coffee wasn't appealing to her, yuck. A smile was plastered on her face as she slowly approached the green park. It was going to feel good to sit on a park bench without the bicker of her parents and her sister. Summer was great... most of them time, but she was extremely bitchy at other times, ugh sisters. Finally she passed the small, black, iron fence and she was in the park, peace and quiet, perfect. She allowed herself to slip into a certain state of mind. Momentarily, she closed her eyes.
BAM! That's all it took, coffee poured down her shirt, and within seconds she was on the ground. Her eyes flashed open and she looked up at the boy. Blushing furiously she jumped to her feet to take a look at her "attacker." She recognized him, a heart breaker. Danny something or other. She was still in a bit of shock. "Oh, um, wow, I'm sorry!" she apologized, biting her lip. By now the coffee had completely soaked through the top of her shirt. Wynter glanced down and looked horrified. She desperately hope he hadn't seen anything, oh well it was just her bra, anyways. She quickly pulled her zip-up hoodie on and zipped it up, trying to hide the stain. "Sorry," she repeated.

Lifting the coffee cup up, Danny drank a little bit more, glad that it had cooled down a little since he had brought it. As he walked, Danny just slipped into that place were he blanked out everything around him, and just thought about random stuff and kept his eyes glancing down at the trail that he had started to follow. It seemed odd to be out on his own, normally he would be with one of his friends, but today it seemed like they were all busy, which left him stranded on his own, which Danny didn't mind to much, but he just wasn't use to it, to not having someone to talk to. Letting out a light sigh, Danny cast a glance around at the people int he park, none of them were people he knew or really even looked the slightest bit interesting, so Danny just stuck to walking along the path, caught up in random thoughts.
It was the force of the collision that brought Danny straight back to reality, and he cursed himself mentally, this was just typical of him, to get so wrapped up in himself that he ended up walking straight into someone else, he felt and probably looked like a right idiot at this point. When he looked at the girl he'd just walked into, Danny sighed, he braced himself for getting yelled at, but it didn't seem to happen, which Danny wasn't going to complain about, getting yelled at in the middle of the Park as not on his list of things to do today. Seeing the stain on the girls shirt, Danny just shook his head, his luck was pretty bad today he decided. "Oh crap, I'm really sorry about that, are you okay?" Danny asked, he really hoped that the coffee had cooled down and that he hadn't gone and burnt the girl as well as staining her shirt. His green eyes dropped to the coffee cup for a moment and watched as it ran down the path, then he looked back at the girl whens he started talking and apologized to him, saying that she hadn't being paying attention. "You don't have to apologize it wasn't your fault, I was the one not paying enough attention to where i was going" Danny said, he didn't want her to feel like it had been her fault, after all he was the one that spilt the coffee, Danny made a mental note to always pay attention when he was walking in the park, so that he could avoid making himself look more of an idiot than he already did.
Danny stood there his coffee cup now on the floor and the contents soaked intot he girls top, he felt like such and idiot for doing this, his eyes glanced to the stain and saw he'd probably just completely ruined the girls top now. Then his eyes drifted over her for a moment she seemed familiar Danny was pretty sure he had seen her around somewhere, but he was strugglign to remember her name. Pulling himself out of that thought danny put his attetion back onto the gilr hoping that she was alright and wasn't going to completely hate him, though danny probably wouldn't hold it against her to hate him now.

Wynter’s face was still a deep red hue. Her embarrassment had always gotten the better of her. People never understood why, because she had such a confident exterior. However, when she was embarrassed it was easy to tell. Her face would go red, she’d laugh nervously (in excess might I add), and she would more than likely not sustain eye contact. But that wouldn’t happen, no, not today, it was time to shed her skin and act like what just happened didn’t even phase her. Would it be that easy?
"Oh crap, I'm really sorry about that, are you okay?"
Wynter nodded weakly and tried to keep looking at him. This proved to be hard. Although it was a mere cup of coffee on her shirt (and she had already covered it), this was still an awkward situation. “Me? Oh, of course I am. It’s, uh, just a cup of coffee,”she commented attempting to sound at least a little bit confident. In truth she wanted to bury her face in her hand and not even talk, but that would just be rude.
"You don't have to apologize it wasn't your fault, I was the one not paying enough attention to where I was going."
“Um, well on the contrary… I wasn’t watching where I was going either,”she responded, trying to take some of the blame off of him. All in all, it appeared that they were both at fault. Neither one had contributed more to this situation than the other. Perhaps this was just bad timing, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wynter glanced at her feet, she wanted to see if any of the coffee had managed to trickle on to her new shoes. None whatsoever, she was rather pleased. Childishly she clicked the heels of them together, somewhat hoping that on the third click that she would magically end up back in her house, but it failed. “Oh, I’m Wynter by the way,” she reported. She might as well try to make a friend while she was in this situation.
Making friends was usually a difficult situation for her. She didn’t really have the model-like features of the standard Miami girl. The majority of the people usually just brush her off like they don’t have time for such a bold person. Was it really her fault that she didn’t fall in love with the spray tan or pastel pink? Perhaps she was content with the fact that she was a Canadian girl who was proud of her pale, clear skin and her loud, colorful wardrobe. Conforming just would’ve felt so un-natural.
