gabriella doesn't really give a damn about what she wears or how people will judge her based on her appearance. she'll wear what she wants to and screw anyone who'll think less of her because of it. she doesn't spend hours and hours trying to figure out what to wear she just digs into her drawers and closets in the mornings. her wardrobe is filled with black, black and more black, though she has got a few pairs of jeans and colored tank tops. her attire is pretty casual, most days sporting jeans and a jacket. her appearance sometimes gives a 'gothy' vibe but that doesn't bug her. her hair is usually a mass of blonde curls and all she has to do it flatten them down in the morning, she rarely ever tones them down or straightens them. as for make up you can forget about it, it will never touch her face. she's naturally slim so food and eating isn't really a problem for her, she eats almost around the clock. she doesn't care about her weight, she could gain to the size of a balloon for all she cares.

history ,
gabriella lucii jukes was brought into this world kicking and screaming on the third of February, 1991. her parents looked upon her with happiness and grateful hearts, for due to complications during birth this was the only child they were ever going to have as a married couple. though distraught at first, they realized having one child was better than having none so they showered all of their love on their baby girl. her mother was an excellent artist and her father was a musician. they'd met and married young, conceiving gabriella when they were both in their late twenties. at that point their monthly income wasn't huge but they got by.
unlike most families, the jukes family were genuinely happy and loved each other. they may not have been the richest family but they didn't need money. as gabriella got through her childhood she proved to be no trouble. she was bright, polite and loved playing with other kids. things were also starting to improve with her father's career as he had gotten over his rock star fantasy as was building himself as a producer, and a successful one at that. their income was steadily becoming bigger and bigger. her mother still drew but only as a hobby, choosing to work a 9-5 job at a supermarket.
by the time gabriella was fifteen, her life was, for lack of a better word, perfect. her father was quite wealthy, so they could afford a nice house and she fit in with all their friends and didn't need to feel awkward, she had a huge group of true friends, her grades were all A's and B's and her parents were still happily married, still in love. sometimes she thinks it's her own fault, for realizing how lucky in life she was, because just as her life was getting on the right track and she was enjoying herself, her mothers was cut short. danielle jukes died on 15th of May 2006 at 2:03pm. she was taken out of school to receive the news.
she was called to the principals office during maths. at first she thought she was in trouble but when she got there and was met with the tear stained face of her aunt she knew something was up. her aunt wanted to wait until they got home to tell her the bad news, but gabriella made her say it. practically forced her as they were walking towards the exit along the corridors. and in front of everyone, she broke down, falling to the ground in tears. she didn't care that everyone could see her, her mother had died and she just couldn't seem to believe it. her aunt hugged her, trying to bring comfort. she pushed her away, but then let herself be carried away by one of her jock friends.
her father was devastated, but he was trying to pull through for her sake. as the months passed and huge grief got smaller little by little each day, gabriella tried to be her normal self and get her life back in order but she couldn't. the thought that her mother was gone forever was still the only thing that ran through her head, every single second. she withdraw from her friends, declining invites, sleepovers, parties, instead opting to stay and home and draw. feeling that was the only way she could connect to her mother. her once bubbly and upbeat personality changed. she then adapted a 'who cares' attitude.
soon enough the grief got easier to deal with, but she'd pushed away all the friends around her and they'd moved on without her. they didn't want or need her anymore. it was all her fault but there was nothing she could do. she continued acting the way she was, being a loner, preferring to being by herself and pushing away any one who tried to get close to her, fearing that she couldn't handle anyone else she loved dieing.
personality ,
withdrawn: gabriella is a very private person and doesn't really interact with people that much. since her mothers death her personality has changed dramatically. her once social and outgoing nature is non existent. she makes it impossible for anyone to talk to her by simply ignoring or insulting them. she pushes anyone who tries to get close away, building walls around herself. she doesn't really go out much except from school and if she feels the need to go for a stroll. in fact you'll often see her sitting around places like the park or the beach, sketching the scene before her.
quiet: gabriella only talks when she needs to. she'll stand up for herself if she's been insulted and for someone else, or if she's asked a certain question in school, but as for sitting and having a conversation with another person she really only does that with one person, that person being riley. she doesn't cause much trouble unless she's provoked. her tone of voice is very cold and stern, letting the other person know that just because she's quiet and doesn't take an interest in much, she's not some innocent little mouse who can be taken advantage of.
sad: ever since the death of her mother gabriella has become a sad and slightly depressed person. she's sees the negative in everything and doesn't see any point to living the life she does. she has nothing to look forward to, one friend in the whole wide world and no social life. she's brought everything on herself but she still can't help feeling lonely. any attempts that are made to be more friendly end in disaster and just make her angry. if she would ever make the approach to talk to you the conversation would mostly be about death, depression, all the horrible things in the world.

so it was a monday night, not exactly the best night to go out clubbing, but taylor hadn't been out in awhile, so after a week filled with meeting after meeting and a desk filled with crazy paperwork, she decided to needed to reward herself. at first that reward was originally going to be a quiet night in, sitting in her comfy pink PJ's and with a tub of Ben&Jerrys cookie dough flicking through her tv channels and eventually picking a chick flick DVD and watching that until she got tired. pretty silly but she never got a chance to do such things. but just as she sat down, got her ice cream and turned on her television, her phone bleeped.
two of her friends had taken a picture of themselves with some random guy at a club, they were obviously drunk despite the time of eight thirty, with writing at the bottom reading 'JOIN US!!!!'. at first she'd stuck her ground and set her phone aside but the picture kept coming into her head and eventually she got up and got dressed, ready to go out. at nine o'clock she'd put her B&J back into the freezer, folded her PJ's and placed them back into her closet and added the finishing touches to her make up. she had been looking for a quiet, uneventful night in, but she could do that next time she had free time.
phoning her private car she arranged for the driver to meet her outside her house in five minutes. she checked her watch and then text several of her 'people' to inform them she was going out, so if they phoned her land line to check up on her or called around she was safe and sound, having a good time with her group of friends and that to not, repeat not even think of following her to the night club, she would be fine. now that she had a security system built into her house and cameras outside she felt much safer and let security off at 6.30pm, feeling no need for the cars parked across the street and various other things she demanded from them at the start.
her phone rang, signaling that her car was at the door. checking her reflection in the mirror and straightening her dress and hair, she grabbed her coat and bag and left, the door automatically locking itself and it slammed shut. her heels crashed against the concrete ground as she made her way down the few steps that led up to her house. smiling at her driver she got into the car and buckled up. when asked she where was going she replied, "vertigo". he didn't need to ask where it was or what exactly 'vertigo' was because taylor had been there many times. and most times she'd left the place worse for wear.
feeling the car come to a stop she thanked him and said if she didn't call him by twelve thirty she'd be getting a cab home. taking a deep breath she smiled at the elaborate entrance. walking to the head of the line, she winked at the bouncer as he opened the velvet rope to let her in. she could the shouting and uproar of the people she had just cut in front of. taylor was an important person, so the bouncer knew it was valuable towards the club if she was seen there. entering the club a song she wasn't exactly familiar with blasted through the speakers, smiling to herself she quickly text one of her friends to see where they were as she headed towards the bar.
quickly finding an empty stool she plopped herself down and her order was taken right away. usually taylor loved going out and partying, but every second she was here that night in seemed more appealing. well she should give it a go, she could make herself get in the party mood. quickly downing her cosmo, she ordered another one and waited on a reply or the chance she'd bump into someone she knew.
