Mason sighed as he walked out hsi alst calss of the day, just as he had predicted the day ahd seemed to drag on and on, well the alst week had been pretty much dragging by and Mason couldn't really figure out why, normalyl stuff happened quickly and it just seemed like someone had his a slow motion button. Though finally managing to escape from the classroom, Mason wasted no tiem in getting down the hallways, not really paying any attion to who he had to bump itno or push past anymore, he jsut wanted to be somewhere that wasn't a classroom or hallway. After a few more moments, of pushing and shoving, Mason finally made it outside and was happy to take a deep breath of fresh air. His ice blue eyes glanced around for a moment, in the slight hope he would spot someone remotely interesting and be able to talk to them, but no one seemed to be around.
Pulling his cell from his back pocket, Mason checked his messages and headed in the direction of the campus mall to grab some lunch from one of the restraunts, he didn't think he could manage going into the school canteen today. His mind wandered as he ehaded over to the mall, he hummed slightly to himself. A few moments later, Mason finally walked into the mall center, he'd only ever actually been in there a few times, it wasn't his usual hang out place but today it seemed like a fairly decent place to kill some time. Mason flicked a piece of hsi hair out the way of his blue eyes as he headed in the direction of one of the restraunts eh ahd been to last tiem he was there that had a pretty good cheese burger on the menu. As he walked past soem people, he saw them glance at the tattoos that covered his arms and hands, that were on show today because of the black wife beater that he was wearing.
Walking in to the restraunt, Mason headed over to a free booth and slipped into one of the free booths, and smiled a the wwaitress set a menu down in front of him. Mason picked hte menu up and flipped it open, though wasn't so sure why he was looking at it when he knew what he wanted, but his eyes glanced over it anyways. After a moment, Mason herd someone apporaching the table, and was guessing it was the waitress, but when he looekd up he raised an eyebrow slightly as his ice blue eyes rested on the person heading for were he was sitting.

It had been another long day full of classes and lectures. It seemed like the whole week had been like that. It unfortunate and rather annoying but at least classes were over for the day. Nineteen year old Seth Jorden walked out of one of his classrooms. Now that it was all over for the day he wasn't sure what he should do now. How should he spend the rest of the day and his evening. That was the question that was on his mind. His old note book, the one that he had back in highschool which was full of sketches and drawings was in his hand as he walked. He had an art project that he should probably start working on. It was due next week and would be pretty easy so it most likely wouldn't take long. Starting it up tonight would probably be the best idea but there was something else on his mind. He was feeling hungry, quite hungry actually. Some sort of food sounded really good right now, maybe a hamburger and some french fries. At the thought of that he sped his pace up a little.
The only thing was that he didn't know where he should eat. He wasn't in the mood to take the bus and leave campus. Or to drive his car somewheres. The canteen was not appealing to him at all, the only option left was to go to the on campus mall. They had some pretty good food there. It would have to do for today. Making his way over to the campus mall he pulled his blackberry out of his pocket and turned it back on. Seth had turned off the power earlier due to the fact that he had been in classes. Having a cellphone on during a lecture was never good, especially if it started to ring or something like that. The professors were never happy with that. Thankfully that had never happened to him but he had seen it happen to other students. They were usually yelled at by the professors because the ringing cellphone had interrupted their lectures. But in a way Seth kinda enjoyed when someone got busted for having a phone on. It's not that he liked seeing people get in trouble, it was that he liked how it was a waste of time. The lectures were so long and boring, when someone got in trouble it gave the other students a little time to relax. They didn't really need to pay attention when the professor was yelling at a certain student.
Finally reaching the on campus mall center Seth pushed opened the doors and walked inside. Since he was there now it was time for him to make his way towards one of the restuarants. He wasn't really feeling that picky so he just went to the first place that he saw. Walking in the smell of food rushed over to him. Everything smelt so good. It made his craving for food even worse. The hunger was getting to him now. Clutching his notebook he walked farther inside. It looked pretty busy. Actually he didn't see any free booths or table. That wasn't good. Not good at all. But then he saw someone familiar. It was some guy. The name was escaping him right now but he knew that he had talked to him before. On msn, right it was um Mason Skillz. That was it, they spoke a few times before online. Never in real life yet but maybe now could be the time to start. He made his way over to the booth that Mason was sitting at. "H-hey dude, u-um mind if I join you?" He asked a little nervous, which showed because he had stuttered a couple times. He wasn't the best at meeting new people but he was putting in an effort. Hopefully Mason wasn't busy or meeting someone. That would be a little awkward.

Leaving a classroom was possibl yone of the things that Mason most enjoyed doing, he sometimes did wadner why he was forcing himself to go through university, but knew thatat somepoint all the stuff he learnt was going to come in useful, and the photography and art course wasn't exactly terrible, it was jsut when they forced him to sit in frontof a desk and listen to a lecture rather than be out taking photos or doing some work on a canvas, Mason could have swornt hey never mentioned two hour lectures in the course description. Mason decided it wasn't really to bad but he coudl do without it, but instead the one thing that was really on his mind was getting himself something to eat. The walk to the campus mall was as unexciting as Mason had thoguth it would be, nothing at all really caught his eye though it semed his tattooos and piecrcings were doing a good job of catching other peoples attetion as he walked past. Yawning, Mason headed straight for the first source of good that he could find, he wasn't to bothered were it was, but was gla to see that it was somewhere that he had been before.
Once inside, Mason sat himself in the booth and thanked the waitress for the menu that she had given to him. His blue eyes scanned over it for a moment, before placing it down on the table again. When he herd someone approaching, MAson had looekd up anmd was about to say what he wanted to order when his eyes rested on the guy that had come over to were eh was sitting. Masons eyes drifted over the guy for a moment, trying to place who he was, something told him that he should have known his name, but for the moment nothing really seemed to be coming to mind, which wasn't really unusual for Mason.
Mason listened to what the guy asked and nodded his head a little smiling slightly at how nervous the guy seemed to be about talking to him, "Yeah sure feel free" Mason said, as he waited for the guy to sit down. Honestly mason was kidna glad someone had showed up, he always thought eating on your own was pretty sad, and Mason had managed to avoid ever doing that so he was glad to see soemone wanting to sit with him.

Standing there after he spoke he waited for the other guy's reply. He was pretty sure that it was Mason Skillz. It sure looked like him because he had heard around school that the guy had loads of tattoos and it was pretty hard not to notice that tattoos on this man. They looked pretty cool though. Sure they weren't really Seth's thing, he would look like an even bigger loser if he tried getting some but for that guy. It seemed to work well, it didn't look odd at all. That look just suited him. But then all of the thoughts about the guy's appearance disappeared when he began to smile a little. What was he doing? Was he going to make fun of Seth? Was the smile meant for someone else, maybe someone behind him. Or was it a genuine nice smile. Him being kind? These were the questions that haunted him right now. Although right after he smiled he began to speak. The words he said made Seth feel a little less nervous about the situation that they were in at the moment. He had said that it was alright for him to sit there. That was good. That meant that he wasn't waiting for someone else and that Seth wouldn't be eating alone tonight.
Remembering that he should still speak he opened his mouth and gave a simple, "Thanks" but as he spoke a shy smile crept onto his face. He had been glad that he had said it was okay for him to sit there. It was nice that he hadn't said no or something even more rude than that which was what Seth usually got from people he didn't know. After speaking he slid into the booth so that he was now sitting opposite of the other young man. He set his note book on the table and then looked up as a waitress came over to them. The guy had already had a menu so she only placed one in front of Seth. He smiled at her and then opened it up so that he could scan it. He wasn't really sure what the point of that was since he planned on getting a cheese burger but oh well. It wouldn't hurt anyone and it'd give him something to do.
After scanning the menu for a couple seconds he looked over top of it at Mason. He was pretty sure that it was him but maybe he should ask, just to make sure that he had the right name and stuff. "So you're Mason right?" He asked with a hopeful tone. If he was wrong that might of been embarrassing but he had a good hunch that he was right for once. Once he finished speaking he waited patiently for the young man's response. It was a little nerve racking waiting but if he had been right with his assumption then it wouldn't matter. He wouldn't become really shy and nervous again. He would most likely come out of his shell a little. He needed to make some new friends anyway. Or at least some more guy friends. He had Ryan, Jamie and Jason but other than that it seemed like most of his friends were girls. Which wasn't bad at all except some times it was nice to hang out with the guys.

Once he was inside of he restraunt, Mason took a glance around at the few other people that were already in there, he recgonized a couple of them form some of his classes, but the weren't people that he really talked too, so he let the waitress show him to his own booth. The day had dragged on for so long, that Mason was fianlly glad to sit somewhere that was not a classroom, or was crowded with way to many people like the hallways were after the classes were let out. Mason took his bag off his shoudler and slipped it under the table as he glanced at the menu that the waitress had just placed in front of him. Giving the menu a quick glance, Mason then moved to pull his cell out from his pocket and check to see if he had any new messages but his in-box was actually empty for once, Mason placed the cell down on tht table, and soon became dsitracted when he saw the guy approaching his booth.
Masons ice blue eyes looked at the guy who was standing there and ahs asked if he could sit with him. Masond din't know if he actually knew this guy already, he couldn't recall having the guy in any of his classes, but guessed there was no harm in getting to know they guy, afterall you could never have to many freinds. Wellt hat was what Mason thougth anyways. He was nmore than happy to agree to let the guy sit with him, and get something to eat, afterall Mason didn't think it was too cool to sit own your own in a restraunt it amde you look a little on the lmae side. Once he hed agreed that the guy could sit with him, Mason dropped his eyes fo ra moment, before flickign a piece of hair out the way of his eyes. He glanced at his tattoos for a moment, before his attetion was returned tot he guy as he thanked him and took the seat across from Mason.
"No problem" Mason nodded with a slight smile, as he watched the waitress that had spoken to him earlier come over and set another menu onto the table. Mason looked at his menu that he had set aside, and was quiet for a moment whild the other guy seemed to be looking through what was on the menu. Mason ran a hand through his hair for a moment, and then his attetion was back to the guy as he herd him start talking. "Yeah that would be me" Mason nodded when he was asked if that was who he was. Mason wasn't to surprised that the guy sitting across from him had a slight clue as to who he was, afterall there weren't exactly that many tattoo and pierced kids like him wandering around the university campus.
"I really don't want to sound rude, but i'm really not sure on what your name is, i mean i think it begins with an s, but i could be wrong" Mason said with a slight frown, he hated to seem rude or anythign like that, but he was natrually awful when it comes to remembering peoples names. mason looekd up and saw tha the waitress was heading back over towards the booth, then he turned back to the guy across from him, hoping that he wouldn't think he was a total jerk for not knowing his name.
