paragraph , Jo can often be forgotten about when it comes to her appearances, mostly because she looks like many other teenage girls her age; blonde, beautiful, soft features. Instead of the stereotype of having baby blue eyes, her eyes are the color of hot chocolate on a cold winter day. Her golden colored straight hair appears white in the summer but glows in the sun making in look like she wears a halo. As an experiment, she had her hairstylist give her lowlights of dusty brown. Her figure growing up has always been like a pole, very sticklike but as she grew older she naturally inherited curves. Her hips grew along with her chest though she was never big in that department. Her skin is cream colored but mostly pale since she doesn’t tan easily no matter how long she stays outside. She is a real teenage so she does get the occasion zit or pimple but overall she doesn’t have to work hard or apply a lot of makeup to impress people.

[/b][/i][/center]history , Jo was born on March 15th 1989 to Jennifer and David Stevenson. She had always been the perfect child good grades, sweet, athletic. It was all you could ask for in a daughter. Her parents loved the fact that she was point guard on the basketball team and was at the top of the food chain in high school. Yeah, she was living the good life but they didn’t have a lot of money. As the economy kept decreasing more and more people were losing their job and her father lost his. It was a very hard time for the family after that. No more impromptu shopping trips with her friends, no more spending money on things without having to stop and ask herself, did she really need this? Of course with basketball traveling all over the state and country it included gas and food money. That didn’t even cover the sports wear they had to get. This was about the time Jo started looking for better things to occupy herself with since she knew her life as a point guard wasn’t going to last much longer. One day her friend invited her over for a sleepover after she had just bought Singstar for Playstation 2. Of course they had just been goofing off at the time not taking it seriously and the first time she had sung on the game her voice was like an angels’ that would be described in religious stories. Her friends were awed at the singing ability. She had never had any lessons before and even though she wasn’t flawless in her singing, she definitely had talent.
Soon after she bought herself a guitar and started teaching herself how to play, spending most of her time locked up in her room trying to master a song and growling in frustration when she would mess up the song for what seemed like the 100th time. Yes, it took a lot of patience but Jo didn’t care, music was her passion and she would do anything to have it. Just when she started getting good at guitar and singing her dad got a job with a high paycheck and her parents looked to her to become that basketball star again. They missed the pride and fame they got from it all, not really considering her feelings about this. They told them that she found other things now and didn’t want to join back up but they told her that music wouldn’t get her anywhere in life. She could get a scholarship to college if she stayed in basketball. She refused so her parents told her that they wouldn’t pay for anything musical for her, no lessons, no music books, no paying the repair check. They said if she wanted to play music for a living that she’d have to do it herself. She didn’t care at the time, being the little rebel she was becoming but when college applications came around and she had to pay off the very expensive pay check for a college to major in music, she was starting to regret it.
She didn’t have the kind of money to pay off college so she began to work laboring hours everyday hoping to save up. She didn’t have the money to pay for a car or the bus so she biked everywhere keeping her in shape. She was beginning to become the outsider. Who wanted the friend who was a senior and didn’t even have a car? The hard work paid off in the end and she saved up enough to just get in college which meant that she could only afford to live in the dorms, which is a wakeup call to anyone that was used to living in a nice house. So she got her diploma and is now a freshman in college. She’s majoring in musical arts. High school is one thing but college is another.
personality , Caring; Most girls when they become teens often are thought of as selfish, uncaring, and just plain cruel but when it comes to Jo, she’s far from it. Yes she does have her off days when she snaps at anyone that comes in her path but for the most part she is a sensitive person. She’s the type of girl that all her friends go to for advice or moral support. She’s always been a shoulder to cry on whenever her friend’s boyfriends dumped them or a nasty rumor was spread about them. She usually knows just what to say to make them feel better. Making her friends happy is important to Jo and if that means beating up the guy that broke her friends heart or toilet papering a girls house that said nasty thing about then, then she’ll do it. She’s also really supportive of friends and family. Since her brother is into music she supports him whenever he does gigs at clubs or bars.
Funny; doesn’t everyone just love a good laugh? It’s the same for Jo, she loves hearing funny jokes and is often repeating them to other friends and family. She tends to find mostly everything funny but not in a annoying way like some people may think. She tends to look at the bright side of things and if that means making it funny then she’ll do it. She loves making others laugh and see them enjoying themselves. Some of the comedians on tv are her role models to her for doing that for a living. If she gets stuck in a situation where nobody thinks the joke is funny, she always works her way out of them because she’s witty and quick in responses.
Partier; This girl just wants to have fun! Whether that means going out to a party, club dancing, or just playing truth or dare with friend, she loves it all. When she arrives at the party she tends to be the life of it. Now that she’s in college she’s free to go out whenever she wants without parents finding out and grounding her. She always chooses dare and will never back down no matter how embarrassing or daring it might be. She’s also a tease and flirts with a lot of guys but mostly she just likes hanging out with guys and flirts without knowing it. Since she has a brother she knows what guys like and dislike and doesn’t mind lounging around on a weekend to watch a baseball or football game with them. She can be extremely girly but also tomboyish too if you catch her at the right moments. Nobody can tell this girl what to do because she’s her own person and nobody will tell her differently.

sample , (This is a sample from another site I was on, I was rping Jasper from the Twilight series)
Jasper was tired of all the commotion that was going on around the house. Every time he entered the room, everyone would yell at him to use his power and he was getting sick and annoyed with them all. They didn’t need him. No, they could calm themselves. He remembered Alice’s pains quite clearly and the thought of going away for a while was looking more pleasant with each second that ticked by. Jasper was now in the living room with Bella, Edward, and Rosalie. It was all to depressing even for a vampire. Even for the emotion master. Jasper was sitting on a chaise that was farther away from Bella than the rest. He held his head in his hands. Everyone was getting down on themselves lately so why should the others care about him. The only one that cared was Alice at the moment and she was far to busy with her own problems. Plus he didn’t want to trouble her any. “Jazz” it didn’t register” Jazz” another pause after Jasper didn’t move “ Jasper!” this time he simply rolled his eyes in the direction of his name, of course it was Edward. He wasn’t in the mood but he dealt with it anyway “ Bella’s feeling uneasy and nervous” Jasper wanted to say, well that’s her problem, but he bit his tongue holding back. He saw Edward go rigid as he must have read his mind. Fine. Would you like anything else, your highness? he thought rather harshly but did as he was told and calmed Bella down. He sighed seeing that Edward looked at least grateful.
Then Bella spoke up telling him to calm Edward, and the bickering started. Edward and Rose arguing against Bella but of course Bella being her stubborn self wouldn’t hear of it. Jasper just stood up You know what? Deal with your own emotions for once. I’m going out with that he stalked outside. Once he was a good distance away he remembered that he should probably change. He sprinted back to the house but headed towards the window. He jumped into his and Alice’s room quickly looking for a pair of clothes, hoping to change before Edward read his thoughts. He got more casual clothes on and was about to jump out the window again when he heard Edward calling to him obviously running up the stairs” Jasper, we need you! Don’t leave we were….” That’s when Jasper jumped out the window cutting Edward off I need some space ok? This is getting way out of hand. I can’t handle it anymore with that he blocked off his thoughts from Edward thinking about less important stuff but drowning out his other thoughts.
He headed into the woods remembering suddenly that he hadn’t been hunting in a while. Way past what he should have gone. Once he was far enough into it so that humans wouldn’t show up he took in a deep breath letting his instincts take over. He could smell some tiny rabbits, deer, birds. Nothing to special which he was disappointed but at least this would keep his mind off his normal train of thought. He stealthily sprinted over to a spot near the herd of deer. One buck, 3 does, not too bad. He ran his tongue over his fangs going into a crouch before he began to stalk his prey. When he was close enough he darted out instantly at the buck’s side. He leapt into the air landing perfectly on the back. He grasped it, pining it down into the ground. He let his teeth sink into its neck tasting the warm blood across his tongue. He began drinking it until the blood was all gone. The animal lay limp under him and he stood straight. He continued his hunt for a few more deer before his thirst was satisfied. He observed his clothing, perfect, not one drop. Practice did make perfect.
He started heading back towards the Cullen’s house realizing that he had been a bit rude to Edward and knew it was part of his thirst that had driven him mad. He was going to break out from under the last bit of brush from the woods when he saw a girl walk into the woods about 100 yards from him. He froze fast enough to not break out into the opening. He sniffed the air, who’s scent was that? He knew it couldn’t be Alice or other siblings or adoptive parents. He quietly followed the vampire realizing who it was as soon as he set his eyes on her. It was Ryder. Ryder and Jasper have always been very close practically best friends other than Alice. She understood him and he understood her. They could talk for hours on end and they always had a good time together. He might even be closer to Ry than some of the family he lives with now. He watched her change but tried not to marvel, it was wrong. Though oddly enough, he never felt attracted to Ry that way. It was more of just a friendship/siblingish bond than anything. He noticed that they were heading into the meadow that he had been to often with Alice. Ry was obviously upset about something, it was obvious. In fact it had been going on for days now but he never got to talk to her because he avoided him at all costs. It was impossible not to ignore though. Her emotions were all over the place, something was definitely wrong. Jasper was glad to finally get her cornered. Well not cornered exactly but the same concept. Jasper walked into the clearing trying to be as silent as possible. Finally he appeared behind her and said “ Hey Ry” his smooth voice taking over. He wouldn’t let her get out of an explanation now.
