Danny stared through the windshield of his car as he finally saw the beach come into view, smiling a little, he turned into the parking lot and pulled up into the first empty space that he could find. Even though he'd come pretty early the place was already pretty full with people looking to make the most of the good weather. Switching the key in the ignition, Danny pushed his door open and stepped out and looked around for a moment. His blue eyes took in all the other people around from the aviators he was wearing, before he turned his attention back to his car and lent into the back to grab his towel and the bottle of sunscreen that he had actually managed to remember this time round.
With towel and sunscreen in hand, Danny pushed the car door shut and locked it, before heading down the small path that connected the beach and the parking lot. It was a day where Danny had found for once that he didn't already have something planned, which was kinda weird for him, because he preferred to be busy then to find himself with nothing to do, but he guessed a trip to the beach was a good way to spend the day, unless he got really bored.
After walking for a few moments across the sand, Danny chose a spot and dropped his towel onto the sand, before sitting himself down on it, and taking a moment to look out at the water, before he slipped his cell from his short pocket to check he didn't have any messages. After doing that, Danny slipped the grey t-shirt he had been wearing off, and rubbed a little sun screen on, before he lent back no the towel. Looking around, Danny tried to see if there was anyone that he knew, but so far they all seemed like strangers to him. Sighing, Danny just laid back and let the sun warm up his skin, and decided that he would swim a little bit later or something. It felt odd for Danny to be staying still in one place, he normally had that thing where he would have to move or be doing something, but today he just felt like taking a break and relaxing.
Just as he was thinking about that, Danny felt a shadow fall across him blocking out the sun. Frowning slightly, Danny lifted himself up so that he was sitting again, and pulled his aviators from his face. Not to sure who to really expect, Danny turned his head slowly and let his blue eyes fall on the person that was standing just across from where he sat.

Okay, so she didn't really go to the beach as often as she should. But part of Aimi liked her pale skin- it was just part of who she was. And she rarely ever tanned, so putting suncream on was just a bore- but still, oily skin or cancer? She'd pick the former any day.
As she arrived at the beach, she stepped out of her car and slipped her escaping flip-flop back onto her small foot, shutting the door with a slight smile. Pushing her sunglasses off her head and onto her hair, she pushed away from her car and undid her hair from it's modest bun. Her parents thought she was studying with a friend- please.
As the wind ruffled her hair around her shoulders, she scanned the beach for anyone she knew and found her eyes lingering on a guy who she vaguely recognised. Who was that... hmm... She couldn't recall. But why not find out?
Walking forwards, swinging her towel as it wrapped around her arm, she undid her parental-approved sundress and slipped it off mid-walk, ending up in just her striking red bikini. She slipped the sunglasses back onto her nose as she stepped in front of his towel, until he noticed and sat up.
"Oops, sorry," she smiled sweetly. "Didn't mean to block your light."

Danny let the shadow fall across him and block out the snulight thar had been warming his skin moments ago. A frown played across his lips as he moved and sat himself up so that he could see who it was that was standing in front of him. Slipping his aviator shades off, Danny green eyes fell onto the girl standing in front of him and he her her say sorry for blocking his light and then smiel at him. "Its okay don't worry about it" Danny smield warmly as he looekd at the girl, he knew he had seen her somewhere before but it had escaped hsi mind where that somewhere had been. He adjusted how he wwas sittign agian so that he was sitting up slightly more, as he looekd back to the girl, "You can sit there if you want its cool" Danny said gesturing with his hand to where she was standing, he wasn't goign to pass up having some comapny if she wanted to sit there with him, afterall the ebach was alot more fun when you had someone to hang out with rather than jsut sitting their on your own. Danny ran his hand through his hair for a moment, befor elooking back at her waiting to see if she was going to stay and sit there or go off somewhere else.

Aimi waited, hesitated, just long enough so it might seem like she wasn't interested. Then she smiled again, thanked him and lay out her towel a few feet from his. She settled down onto it gently and rooted around in her bag for some suncream, squirting a little into her hands and running it over her arms, stomach and chest.
She glanced sideways in her tinted sunglasses so he couldn't see that she was looking, and studied his face and body. Had she met him when she was out partying somewhere? Hmm, very probable. It was ringing a vague bell but she was so bad for names.
"And to think I was almost going to waste a beautiful day like this somewhere else," she sighed conversationally, cute smile breaking out again. She stretched and then lay back on her towel slowly, something which was a little difficult to her. Usually she'd be on the move all day, lying still and sunbathing was normally so boring.

Danny looked up at her, and thoguth for a moment that maybe she was going to walk away but then herd her say thanks and set her towel out a little way from his. Danny smiled slightly to himself as he glanced over a her for a moment as she sat down on her towel. He'd decided now that he'd probably picked a good day to come down to the beach. he looekd out at the water for amoment, and at the few peopel that were out surfing before his atetion was brought back to the girl now laying opposite him. He couldn't help but frown slightly knowing that he had met her before somewhere, his best bet was a party or something, he couldn't think of were else he would see her, he was cetain she wasn't in his classes at all. Danny herd waht she said, and turned his head again slightly so that he was looking across at her. "Yeah, got to make the most of the good weather, and were better to come then the beach" Danny nodded, he liekd to spend as much time at the beach as he could possible, but with collge and various other things he hadn't spent much time here. "I'm Danny by the way" he added guessing it was pretty bad manners not have introduced himself already and he was kinda hoping that hearing the girls name would trigger were he knew her from, because Danny was pretty sure hey had met before. He slipepd his aviators back on to block the sunlight out as he glanced back at the girl as he lent back slightly on hius hands.

Already irritated with having to lie down, Aimi sat up and stretched her slim arms out in front of her. She turned her head so she was facing him, tilting it as she tried to remember him, her dark hair cascading down towards the towel.
"Nice to meet you Danny. Hmm," she said thoughtfully, but seemed to brush her thought aside. "I'm Aimi."
She looked out towards the ocean, watching the people going by. A group of guys were throwing a bright frisbee around, and she watched it soar from hand to hand. One of the things she loved most about the beach was the sound- the waves shooshing and the crunching of the sand beneath people's feet.
She turned her head back towards Danny. "So... this is going to sound a little wierd. But have we met before?" she laughed fluidly, not so much a girly giggle this time.

Danny stretched out his arms slightly before he got cramp, and then leant back on his ahnds,a s he turned his head so he was looking towards the girl, who had now moved to be sitting up like he was. Danny smiled softly as she poke to him, "Well its nice to meet you to Aimi" Danny nodded slightly, he was glad to have found someone that he could speak to, as much as he liked the beach Danny preffered to have company wherever he was, otherwise he became bored quickly, and seeming as his friends were all busy Danny counted himself lucky for meeting Aimi. He was pulled from that thought when he herd Aimi talking to him again, Danny listeend to her ask if they had met before, a slight smile passed across Dannys lips, he was glad to know he wasn't the only one with that feeling. "Yeah i think we have, but I'm still working on where exactly we've met before" Danny told Aimi, as he adjusted his psoition on his towel. It annoyed Dany when he couldn't remeber things, but he thoguht about it for a moment, and then sort of figured out where it might have been, "You know I think it might have been at some part awhile back" Danny said as he let his green eyes fall on Aimi again. The more he thought about it the more sure Danny became that it had been at some party that he had first met Aimi.

Aimi rested her head on her arms as they folded across her legs. Her expression remained thoughtful as he spoke, eyes drifting up towards the sky as she listened. She loved the colour of the sky when it was open and clear, barely a cloud in sight.
"I think it was a party, too," she smiled agreeably. She'd probably been drunk -as she often was, at parties- and that would explain her lack of memory. She couldn't account for his, though, unless he was a drinker as well. She pretended to be distracted by a couple walking their dog in front of them, instead studying Danny's face again. Ahh, wait... she thought. I remember him now, she thought a little slyly, pretty sure they'd gotten quite personal when they'd last met.
The corners of her mouth lifted into a coy smile as if she knew something he didn't, then she lifted her sunglasses off her head and shook her hair out. She sort of fancied a swim... she was already quite hot just sitting in the sun for a little while.

Danny glanced across at Aimi again for amoment, before bringing his eyes away and letting them glance back out at the water after he ahd finished talking to her. He smiled slightly when he herd Aimi agree with him that they had probably met at a party before. "Well then thats agreed then we met at a party, though I gotta admitt I don't remeber much of it" Danny said as he looked at Aimi again for a moment. Danny's memory of parties was never that good, afterall most of the time he would be drunk, which meant he was guranteed to forget most of what took place at the parties. Danny was busy trying to remember the party, but he'd been to so many since that one that they were all a massive blur really and trying to pick out one party was prety much an impossile task for Danny. He saw Aimi smiling, and wandered iof she happened to remember more about this party then he did. Though Danny guessed whatever did happen that it couldn't have been bad otherwise Aimi wouldn't still be sitting there with him.

"Nor do I, it seems," Aimi smiled to herself again, light green eyes scanning the ocean again. She half-turned towards him, wondering whether she should ask him if he fancied a swim. She was definitely having some flashbacks of the party, but she wasn't going to talk any more about something that had already been established.
Stretching out her legs against the soft towel, she sighed slightly. She was glad for the company but she wasn't really sure what to say. Part of her wanted to start flirting, but he didn't seem that interested in her so far, maybe what happened at the party had just been the alcohol talking? Discontent suddenly, she frowned slightly, small pout appearing.
"I'm gonna go for a swim," she announced, slipping her sunglasses from her head and fixing her gaze on him for a moment. She smiled slightly as if wondering if he'd join her, then she stood up and walked casually down to the water, not bothering to dip her toes in and squeal like other girls. A few steps into the water, she dove and felt that instant shock-and-relief of the cool water rushing past her face.

It didn't surprise Danny to hear Aimi say that she didn't remember much of what had happened at the party, but something told him she might remember a little more then he was at the moment, but Danny wasn't giving up just yet, he had a cluse as to waht happened but was thinking about it a little more for now. "Must have been a good party then, all the good ones tend to be the ones you don't remember" Danny smiled slightly, you knew when you had partied hard if the memories were extremely fague. Dannny glanced across at Aimi as she stretched her legs out on her towel, well one thing was for sure she was defintly hot to say the least Danny thought to himself as he pulled his eyes away from Aimi. Hearing Aimi announce that she was now going to go for a swim, Danny turned his head and looked back at Aimi as she looekd at him, a slight smile playing across his lips as he did. Before he had time to say anything Aimi was walking away from him and heading to the water. Deciding he wasn't going to sit there and look like a loner and the fact that he wanted to talk to Aimi some more, Danny pulled himself up from his towel and headed for the water himself. Stretching his arms, Danny headed down to the water, and made his way ut until it was up to his knees before he dove under. he was down for a few seconds before he broke through the surface and glanced around for Aimi now.

Ahh, good, he followed, Aimi thought as she broke the surface and saw him heading for the water as well. She thought about what he said, and it was true- most of the good parties you didn't remember because they were so good. Wiping the salty water from her eyes, she stood up as he dove in.
The water was about up to her waist, and she had to admit she loved the motion of the waves lapping gently against her skin. It was one of those feelings you always noticed and loved, and she couldn't help smiling. Why don't I go swimming more often? she mused to herself until she saw Danny come back up again. Smiling coyly again, she moved through the water until she was standing beside him.
"So, Danny," her smiled slipped into a casual half-smile as she extended an arm and leant against him, although he was quite a bit taller than her. "What do you remember about that party?" she asked, almost challengingly.

Danny dove under the water, and it cooled his body off from sitting in the sun, before he pushed himself up and broke through the surface of the water. Once he was above the surface, Danny's green eyes glanced around, until they finally settled back onto Aimi who was moving through the water, and came to a stop next to him. Danny was distracted for a moment as he glanced around at the other people in the water, but his atetion fell right back onto Aimi when she said his name and moved so that she now leant against him. A slight smirk crossed Danny's lips for a moment, before he herd Aimi ask him what he did remember about the party. Danny turned himself slightly in the water so he was facing Aimi a little more but so that she could still lean against him. he thought for a moment before he said anything back to her question, "I remember that there was lots of drinking, followed by some flirting, and well you probably know the rest, right?" Danny said with a small smile as his green eyes looked down at Aimi.

She felt the old familiar thrill churning through her blood as he turned to face her a little more, and the contact of their skin was suddenly red hot under her arm. Lifting that arm away from him, she pulled her hands together behind her bag and smiled up at Danny with a little bit of innocence left in her eyes.
"Drinking? Me?" she rolled her eyes as if it were a ridiculous notion. Way to keep up the angelic facade. "Flirting and lord knows what else?" she questioned, biting her bottom lip. "I've got no idea what you're talking about," she flirted shamelessly now, running her tongue along her top teeth as she smiled again, hands moving around as she rested them on her hips.

Standing there, Danny felt Aimi move her arm from him, after he had turned himself so that he was facing her properly now. A faint smile played on his lips as Aimi looked up at him and dismissed his comments about drinking and flirting as if it was something she would never do, but Danny knew differntly and he stood there laughing slightly as Aimi spoke to him. He herd her last comment and Danny shook his head slightly and smiled at Aimi, "No i'm pretty sure you know exactly what i'm talking about" Danny said as he moved slightly closer to Aimi, and flashed her a slight smile. "And the innocent acts not working, you were drinking, and definatly flirting that i do remember" Danny nodded with a knowing look in his eyes, the more he'd thougth about the party the more he was mnanaging to piece together and he knew that he nad Aimi had defintly done plenty of fliritng.
