Lyon was born in Glasgow eight months after his seventeen year old parents split up. When his mother found out she was pregnant the first thing she did was tell his father. The young pair did not reunite but stayed close friends during the pregnancy for the sake of their growing "family". Lyon was named after his maternial grandfather who died when his mother was just a baby herself. The teen parents did the best they could for their baby boy which wasn't always easy but they managed. He stayed in his grandmothers house with his mother but his his father visited daily and when Lyon was very young would often stay during the night so his mother could rest.
When Lyon started school he began to relize that the other childrens parents were around the same age as his grand parents he also noticed the way the other parents would glare at his own. This only botherd him for a little while he began to notice the things that made his family special, how his dad always had enough energy to play with him and his mum's imagination meant she could tell the most amazing stories. He watched as his mother worked on her photography with her goal to open her own studio one day. His father meanwhile got an IT job with a up and coming local company.
When Lyon was 10 years old he agreed to give his mother away when she married his step father Chris. At first Lyon worried that Chris would try replace his dad but this never happend. Eventually Chris and John became good friends. So much so that when Faith was born in the same year that John was asked to be god father. Just after Lyon's 15th birthday his mother made decided to move to Miami in hopes of furthering her photography carer. Lyon kept in contact with his father swaping emails and phone calls almost daily.
His new life lead Lyon to discover many things about himself. He began to help his mother set up for photo shoots and soon wanted to follow in her footsteps and become a photographer. He graduated high school with slightly above adverage grades and headed staright to college. Lyon's now away from his family for a long period of time and he is hoping to take it in his stride

Lyon is known for being calm. Some see this as a flaw as he can sometimes appear to not take things seriously. Others however love this about him as you can't help but relax when you are around him. He is one of those people that tends to take the role of group therapist amongst friends. Since he was young all his friends would come to him with their problems and he would do his best to help them all.
Although usually calm and quite this does not get in the way of having fun and partying. Lyon is also a very passionate person who will defend those close to him without thought. He tries his best to see the best in all people which means he can often be hurt by those willing to take advantage of the gentle boy but he doesn't allow people to hurt him twice as he belives they will never change and shuts them out of his life.
As a little boy he was always told off at school for day dreaming which is a habit he has yet to break. Often Lyon can be seen sitting staring into space drumming his fingers to some made up song. Others have often commented on the musical talent shown here but it has been proven that it is only there when Lyon's head is in the clouds. Overall Lyon has a very relaxed, gentle personality which may never make him the most popular but ensures his friends stay as loyal as he is to them.

Lyon hitched his backpack onto his shoulder and gulped as he looked up at the large building infront of him. This was his new home, the University of Miami. It would be his first time living away from home and he didn't know what to expect. His chest was puffed out with a new found indepence but underneath it his heart was racing nervously.
He put one foot in front of the other the thin soles of his shoes making a gentle thud on the ground as he began to approach the college. All around him other students were doing their own thing. To his right a group of girls were squealing their greetings to each other as they jumped up and down. Just in front of him an other boy lent against a tree, cigarette hanging limply from his lips. He nodded in acknowledgement as Lyon passed. lyon nodded back suddenly craving the bitter taste of nicotine.
