Start Of The Fall Semester

Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania

A small college town in central Pennsylvania is exactly where a parent would want their child heading to college, right? It's something of the picture perfect town in which to live. Small, good local police force, nearly everyone on campus knows everyone else, excellent job opportunities arise from the small private college. Really; it's something of a dream come true for both parents and students. Great sports teams, academics, party life...it's just about everything you could ask for in a college experience.

Or is it?

Selinsgrove Pennsylvania has never been known too well. Or wait, it has been. Actually, it was written about in The New York Times. But what for? Having a population that hasn't changed in thirty years. Clearly the biggest crime in this place is someone stealing someone else's pig, right? Wrong. Oh so very wrong.

Fall semester starts off as usual. A big mixer at the Theta Chi fraternity house, accompanied by the usual drunken fighting of the Theta brothers versus the Lamba Chi Alpha brothers. But what no one knew was going on during that spectator bringing event; was the horrific and grisely murder of one of SU's students. And not just any student. But a very popular honour student known for her sweet nature and impressive academic acheivements. Now the murder alone wasn't the only thing to cause quite an uproar. What made the little hairs on everyone's necks stand up was this; a note left behind on her mutilated body...

"Urban legends do come true...don't they?"

Now the students of SU have a few options. Tuck their tails between their legs and get the hell out before they become one of those legends, or sit tight and cross their fingers in hopes that they aren't next.
