'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me' The way he said those words to her, the way he looked into her eyes sincerely it felt like his statement was directly aimed at her.Like he was basically saying he would always be there for her and never judge what she did but even though she couldn't be sure if that was the case she still felt her heart flip."So, i never asked this, I'm curious" she paused for a second as she shifted her weight once more and twisted her hair around her finger "What made you decide to come to Miami?" she asked, if she didn't get the answer to that now it would bug her because like she had thought previously, it was odd that they both ended up in the same place. laughing along with his statement she gave a small shrug. There was no point in arguing with him or saying she didn't always get what she wanted because she didn't lie and to make that statement would make her a liar.Maybe she was a spoiled brat, just maybe, but she didn't care. She thought of it as pure determination , if her heart and mind was set on something she would put in as much effort as possible to achieve it."Yeah well i cant argue with that one, you know me too well Seth" she smiled shyly, she used to say that to him all of the time because he actually did know a lot about her, he knew most of her trademark expressions, the way her mind worked, things she would do and say, it was great to share that with somebody.
Staring to the ground in pure embarrassment she once again crossed her arms across her chest vulnerably. She shut her eyes for a couple of seconds as she took in a deep breath. What was she supposed to do now? leave? Yeah she could leave, just walk away, he wouldn't follow her because she would have left the conversation on such award terms.Preparing to take a step backwards and turn away completely she decided against it, instead she thought of other options, she could speak again, say something else to avoid the embarrassment of having to admit the fact that she had flirted with him.But what to say? Confusion spread through the blonde's mind , she felt like she always had to mess things up, even if it was unintentional.
And when he spoke she had to look up.Was he ignoring what she said? That seemed to be the case and no matter how sweet she thought it was that he had tried to move on in the conversation she still felt idiotic, like she couldn't even find words to speak anymore.Pondering on what to say next she finally took a step backwards, further away from him as she managed an awkward smile. If only things hadn't have been so messed up between them before, if they had ended on good terms then a flirty comment wouldn't have really made much difference to her, but they didn't end on good terms, so it did make a difference, a bad one.Nodding as she let the smile fall from her lips she looked away from him, looking around the campus to try and think of an excuse to leave, or something along those lines.

Standing there he listened as she began to speak again. He watched as she began to twist her hair around her finger while she asked him a question. It was a question he was expecting and one that he planned on asking her after he gave her his answer. "I wanted to get far away from New York.. and my old art teacher mentioned that they had a really good art program here" He stated simply. It was the truth and why he had came there. Sure there were many others colleges that he had got accepted to but this one had just seemed to be the right one. It was still incredibly surprising that they had both chose this particular university though but now he wanted to know why she was here. "So what about you? What made you choose to come here?" Seth asked curiously and then began to wait for her to answer him.
Seth smiled as he laughed along with her and then nodded when she spoke. "Yes I really do, don't I" He said still smiling as he looked down at her. It was true. He really did know her well. It was almost scary how much he knew about her but then she also knew a lot about him so it didn't really matter now did it. She knew what he liked, what he didn't like. His expressions and the way that he loved to joke around. She always knew how he got when he was nervous, just little random facts about him. There wasn't much that she didn't know. Even though it had been a while since they had seen each other he hadn't changed very much. He was still the same old Seth just older and more mature. Other than that there was nothing different.
Standing there he looked at her but then around the campus. His attempt hadn't worked that well. Actually it hadn't really worked at all. Things were still awkward from the little slip she had made and Seth really wished that it hadn't. The conversation had been going so well and now with just one small statement it was all about to end. It was upsetting and annoying really. What was he to do now though? She wasn't speaking now and he didn't know what to say. He watched as she backed away a little and he shoved one of his hands into the pocket of his blue jeans. "So.." He said a bit more quietly as he looked around the campus once more but then back at her. He felt a little uneasy now that it had become awkward between them again. Why did they have to break up on such bad terms? Why couldn't things just not worked and they stayed friends. That would've been so much better than this.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me' Ignoring everything he had said Stephanie just stood there, completely silent still.Though she listened to what he had to say about his reasons for moving here she couldn't help but get distracted at the thought of what she had said previously. But noticing his way of carrying on the conversation, the way he just said 'so' made her think that he actually hadn't payed much attention to it, that he was just carrying on as normal and had taken it as a joke.Well even if he didn't he was acting that way and it was better than nothing, maybe it gave her a little confidence back to speak. So upon hearing his question on reasons why she moved to Miami she began to think.
Why did she exactly come to Miami? Because she wanted to get as far away from all of the drama it held against her and that definitely included Seth. But it wasn't like she could say that to him because if she did then it would feel like it was being aimed at him and she didn't want that, it wasn't exactly just Seth. There was the fact that her mom was never around, her fall out with Kasey, she just got bored of what New York had to offer.Uncrossing her arms and running one hand through her hair she finally mad eye contact with him again "Oh well i just needed to get away" she emphasized away like it was some kind of torturous place and she made a lucky escape but in a way it was and she knew Seth would relate to that."Plus i know the fashion program here is pretty good and i always wanted to go to Miami" she then added with a smile, to lighten the subject.
Rerunning what his reasons were in her mind she began to actually understand what he had said because when he had originally spoke her mind was in other places and although she took in the words she didn't really process them until now.Art program was the one that stuck out though, she gave a delayed smile and looked down at the books in his hands."i knew you would take your art studies further" she said sweetly as her eyes stayed on the books "Can i see?" she asked, raising one eyebrow hoping to see what he had been working on, she held out her hand hoping he would say yes and hand over the books.'Back on track' she thought, happy that the awkwardness had disappeared and that the conversation was running smoothly again.

Keeping his hand shoved in his pocket he continued to look around the campus thinking that things were gonna stay awkward until he heard Stephanie's voice. He turned his head so that he was looking down at her again while he began to listen as she explained why she had chosen Miami. Her reasons were similar as his and he nodded to show that he was listening. But when she mention that she had always wanted to come to Miami he smiled, "The little fashionista wanted to come have some fun in the sun didn't she" He said with a small laugh, "It's good to hear that you're keeping up with your fashion studies though" He added a bit more seriously than his other comment but the smile was still on his face.
Stephanie had always had a great interest in fashion, that was something he could never forget. She always knew about the latest styles and had a great talent when it came to designing outfits. She could always make something look great. It was something she was good at and he was glad that she hadn't given up on it. However right now that wasn't the only thing he was glad for, the other thing was that their conversation that had went terribly wrong and awkward was now mending. It was becoming less awkward with each second now and that was something to be happy about.
Watching her he noticed that her eyes were focusing on the note book that was in his hand. She seemed to be a bit curious about it now and his thought was proven right when she asked if she could look at it. "Um, yeah sure. Go ahead" He said as he handed her the book. He didn't really see why it would be a problem. It was his old book that he used back in high school. It was the same one except it just had a lot more drawings now. She would probably recognize some of the older ones and he hoped that she liked the newer ones. Even though he was really good at drawing he still got nervous when showing his work to people. He couldn't help it, it was just how he was. Sometimes he'd become unsure of himself but he was trying his hardest to get over that. It was annoying and he hoped to get rid of it soon.
Seth kept his eyes on her while she began to look at his drawings. He still felt a little nervous about showing them to her but it was beginning to go away. He couldn't really remember all of the sketches that were in there since there were so many now but there was one question that he wanted to know. He wanted to know what she thought about them. Did she think they were good? Were there some that she liked better than others? He wanted her opinion on them. He had always valued her opinion in the past and he was still curious about it now. "So what do you think?" He questioned as he moved a little closer to her so that he could see the picture she was looking at.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me' Stephanie began to wonder what Seth's reply would be to her reasons on why she wanted to come here.Because the way she had said she needed to get away might of made him think it was because of him and like she had thought of previously, she didn't want that.Of course earlier in the conversation she might have wanted that when she was trying to push him away and make him not want to talk to her again but not now, not now things were running smoothly between them.Looking to the ground at his response she gave a laugh, a short happy laugh."I like that title, the little fashionista" she said, repeating the sort of nickname he gave to her, she looked up to him, the smile stayed on her lips "But you are right, fun in the sun is what i wanted, i mean whats work without no play?" she questioned, mainly to herself.
When he said it was good that she had kept up her fashion studies, she felt herself smiling that extra bit more.It was great that he was happy for her, happy that she had stuck with what she wanted to do.Because back in high school he knew more than anyone that she enjoyed fashion, anything to do with it infact.Whenever they went out together she would usually make them stop at one of the stores in the high street so she could get something new, add her own flare to it or just check out the latest fashions. They were like a couple of creativity, him with his art and her with her fashion. In a way they had a lot in common though it took her years to figure that out.
After waiting a few seconds for his response he finally answered her and handed over the notebook. As she held it in her hands and her eyes focused on it for a few seconds before actually deciding to open it she couldn't help but notice that it was the same one he used back in high school , that or he had just bought the same book again but that didn't seem the case, there were a few of the same marks on it, the top corner was dented slightly from the time she had looked through it and dropped it on accident.Staring at that she laughed to herself, guessing that he wouldn't understand why she was laughing she just ran her thumb over the corner of the book."This is the one from high school right?" she then asked though she knew it was the truth she just felt like she had to say something.
For a second her eyes glanced up to him then back down again as she finally opened the first page, recognizing the first picture immediately. It was easy to remember because well, it was amazing, that and the fact that she always used to look through his book when he updated it , she knew how nervous he used to get though but she always reassured him.Flicking through the pages slowly so she could examine each drawing and really take it in she heard his voice, it startled her a little since there had been a silence for a bit, when he moved closer and his eyes met the same page she was looking at she shook her head, but not in a bad way, in an amazed way."i don't even know what to say.." she said about one of his newer drawings and looked up to him "It sucks.." she joked in a serious tone and then let a smile play on her lips showing that she was joking "This is absolutely amazing, i mean i thought your older drawings were brilliant, but you have definitely improved".

A smile appeared on the young man's face when he heard as she began to laugh. It wasn't a long laugh but it was a happy one. It was nice to hear her laugh again. "Well that's good to hear" He said as he laughed along with her for a couple seconds, "It's very fitting, it's a bit of a stretch from the blonde vixen but I think it will work" He continued, this time bringing up an older nickname. It was the old nickname they had came up with for her ages ago during one of their random msn conversations. It had been so weird and funny but surprisingly it had stuck. He hadn't forgotten about it and now he was starting to wonder if she had too. He was going to find out soon since he had brought it up though. Seth sorta hoped that she hadn't minded him bringing it up but then why should she? It was only a nickname right? Yeah right. When she looked up to him with the smile still on her face he immediately smiled back. When she was smiling it was hard not to smile. Hers was just so beautiful and contagious. It was a good thing though. She could always make a person feel better if they were done. Well she could always make him feel better, she might not have realized it but she could. He thought about her question. "Work without no play would just be work, work and more work. It wouldn't be fun at all" He stated keeping the smile on his lips.
After handing her the book he watched her facial expressions. A confused expression came over his face as she began to laugh as she looked at the cover. Her reaction was different then what he had expected. Why was she laughing? He couldn't really figure it out. Was there something that he was forgetting? Maybe. He watched her a bit more closely as she began to touch the corner. It had a small dent in it... from where she had dropped it ages ago. That was why she was laughing. It all made sense to him now and the confused expression left his face quickly. It was replaced with a happy smile. He gave her a small nod, "Yeah it is" He said but it was pretty obvious that she had already knew that. "I couldn't bring myself to buy a new one. It just wouldn't be the same plus a lot of my good material is in there." He added when she opened up the notebook.
Seth began to look down over her shoulder as she started to flip through the pages of his book. She wasn't going very fast more slowly so that she could get a good view of them all he suspected. It was nice to see that she was still interested and cared about his work. He was glad that that hadn't changed. When she stopped on one particular drawing, one of his new ones she began to speak. "it what?" He said thinking she had been serious when she had said that it sucked but then saw the smile. The smile that meant that she had just been joking. He rolled his eyes, "Steph why must you be so mean to me?" He said making his voice sound a little whiny as a joke and then pushed her shoulder gently. After that he let a playful laugh escape from his lips but it stopped when she spoke again. This time she was being more serious and giving him actual compliments about his drawings. "Thanks.." He said and then was hit by a thought. There were a few drawings that she hadn't looked at yet and he wanted her to see them. "Mind if I show you something?" He asked and held his hand out so that he could take the notebook back. He wouldn't keep it long just long enough so that he could find the pictures that he wanted to show her.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me' Watching him closely she happened to notice his smile after she laughed. Was he smiling because she was laughing? If so then wow, he always used to smile at her laugh, he often told her it was cute even though she actually hated it and would say she would give anything to exchange her laugh. But still, to see him smile because of something she did was a great feeling to have. And then her smile completely faded, when he mentioned the old nicknames they had for each other, but her facial expression wasn't one of anger, sadness or anything, even though she wasn't smiling you could still tell she was happy. It just shocked her that he remembered that, of course she had but she didn't think he would.Every time one of her friends told her she was being Vain she would always think of Seth and that time where she called him Mr vanity on an msn conversation. It made her laugh then and it still did now.
A sweet smile formed as she thought about the nicknames even more."Well Mr vanity, that is correct i mean when you weigh out Fashionista and The blonde vixen i personally think the second one has more of a catch, but you had an alter ego so i can too" she said, sticking her tongue out childishly.Earlier on she wouldn't have done anything like that but now, now the conversation was just like old times and she thought why not act like it was old times, back in high school where they could be immature and get away with it."Exactly" she said and nodded at his work statement "So, have you been getting up to any fun in the sun while being here?" she asked, wondering what he had been doing in the couple of months they had to settle in Miami.
When he spoke she had to look up, his voice was just so attracting, like she had to look into his eyes to really take in what he was saying. That and well, she loved looking into those puppy dog eyes of his, he always seemed so cute and innocent."Well it would probably be in a better condition that this one.." she said laughing slightly as she pointed to the corner "But i really didn't mean to do that.." she then added, holding one hand in the air as if she were at court.Shaking her head at her own stupidity she looked back down at the book, continuing to flip through the pages, he really was talented, hopefully he would get discovered and get somewhere for what he was good at.
Hearing the serious tone in his voice, she leaned her head back a little to look up at him, seeing that he saw her smile she stuck her tongue out again."gotcha" she said in a playful tone as she listened to what he had to say.Lowering her head again she laughed to herself that she had got her revenge on him for when he made her think he was being serious earlier "well you played fire with fire Sethy boy.." she replied in a serious tone as she felt him push her shoulder, she laughed along with him.Seeing his hand held out she looked down at it then back up to his face as he asked her a question, thinking about it she nodded slightly and handed over the book "um, yeah sure..of course you can" she replied wondering what it was he wanted to show her.

The smile that played on Seth's lips became much larger when she called him Mr. Vanity. It felt like it had been ages since he had been called that by her. Plus he was glad to see that she had remembered. He let out a small chuckle when she stuck her tongue out at him and nodded, "Well I suppose I can allow you to have an alter ego... maybe" He stated jokingly, "It all depends on my mood though" He added with a small smirk as he looked down at her. They were being quite childish now. It was amusing and fun. It had been a while since he acted like this and he was enjoying every second of it. He was so incredibly glad that he had found Stephanie today. If he hadn't he'd still be over at that picnic table drawing. Not saying that, that was a bad thing but he would much rather be here acting weird and joking around with her.
When she asked him another question he thought about it for a minute. "Well I guess so, I've basically just been hanging around with Blake and her friends while making some new friends of my own." He commented as he thought back over the things he had been up to lately. Blake had introduced him to most of her friends and he had also hung out with his old friend Jamie who now happened to be his new roommate. That turned out pretty well for them both. It was a lucky coincidence for both of them to have been put in the same dorm room together. He was glad about it because Jamie was fun to be around. They always had good laughs and joked around, it was nice. But then he stopped thinking about himself and set his attention and thoughts on Steph again, "What about you? Been up to anything interesting lately since you got here?" He questioned giving her a smile.
Watching as she flipped through some more pages he laughed along with her again. "Yeah I know. I remember the numerous amounts of apologies that you gave me the day that had happened" He said as he thoughts begin to drift back to that day. She had felt really bad for what had happened and kept apologizing. At the time it had felt like she didn't think that he believed her but he knew that she had just kept on saying sorry because she really did care. She knew how much that book had meant to him. And was truly sorry about it. Looking back on it now it seemed quite funny. It was only a small dent but she had made a big deal out of it. Oh well it was all over with now. Just the memories that remained. Although he hoped that it wasn't totally over. Maybe more memories could be made in the future. After all they were getting along very well now. It felt like old times, that had to mean something.
He shook his head playfully, "Don't stick your tongue out at me" Seth said after seeing it revealed once more to him. She had fooled him and by the way she had spoke again it seemed like she was happy with herself for succeeding. When she started going on about playing with fire he just laughed, "Oh hush you" He said still laughing but then slowly his laughter died when he asked her the question. Waiting for her answer he hoped that she would say yes and give it back. When she did he quickly flipped through the pages in search of the certain pictures that he was looking for. Even though he should feel nervous about showing her these pictures he didn't for some reason. He wasn't sure why, he just didn't. They were some of his newer work and it was obvious because they were located closer to the back. He quickly found them but did let her see them yet. "Okay well here they are.. I hope you like them because if you do I'd like you to have one" He said as he handed the book back to her. The pictures were now out in the open so that she could see. They were of her. Well the blonde vixen. There were a couple there. Some with different outfits, others of her in different poses. He hoped that she liked them, he had spent a lot of time on them and you could tell because they looked amazing.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me' Hearing him say he would allow her to have an alter ego depending on his mood she shook her head at him, like she was his mother or a teacher that was disappointed in him.Of course she wasn't being serious and she knew he would know that, it was just she loved joking around with him, she couldn't help it.Thinking about what had happened between them today she was actually quite glad that they bumped into each other. If she hadn't of decided to take a tour around the campus she probably wouldn't have, well she might have eventually but the turnout wouldn't have been this good. She probably would have walked around the campus a little and then gone back to her room to spend yet another boring night alone, or with Sarah but really she might aswell have been alone.
Listening to what he had been up to she expected him to rub it in her face that he had been with loads of girls and been to five hundred different parties.Ok, so maybe she was exaggerating Seth's personality just a little because even if he did do all those things he was never the kind of person to rub it in her face and make her feel jealous or sad.For a start the Seth that she knew probably wouldn't have done that ind of stuff but he could have changed now and been living the full college experience. After thinking about that she frowned a little, great now she had images of him with other women, just an extra bit of jealousy sprinkled on top of this wonderful train of emotions she was riding. When he mentioned Blake she gave a nod, that was his cousin, at least that was what she thought, she remembered him mentioning her a few times back in New York though they had never met.
"Your cousin right?" she asked, hoping that answer would be a yes."Well I'm glad you made some friends, I'm surprised you haven't got the whole college eating out of the palm of your hand" she added, he was definitely one of the most sweetest and friendly people she had met in her entire life so making new friends shouldn't have been hard for him.Hmm, what had she been up to exactly? Thinking about it she pouted her lips slightly and ran her fingers through her hair."Well i made some new friends too, um..Danny, hes really sweet and Jamie, hes amazing" she smiled and thought about what else she had been up to "Ive basically just checked out what Miami has to offer, you know..restaurants and clubs and such" she added and looked up to him "But i haven't quite found one that lives up to Cbgb's" she said, looking directly into his eyes with a flirty smile. She couldn't help being like that, it was just Stephanie.
Laughing when he mentioned the endless amount of apologies she gave him she looked down at the book once more."Yeah well i knew how much it meant to you, it would be like.." putting one finger against her lips like she was deeply thinking about it she looked up to the sky "It would be like you dropping a new pair of my Gucci shoes or something like that.." she said as she pointed to him, ok so maybe that wasn't the best example because you could replace shoes, well she could. But it was the only one she could think of, she knew he understood her love for all things fashion."You are giving out a lot of demands today aren't you?" she questioned rhetorically, the smile on her lips after he told her not to stick her tongue out and to hush."Next you will be demanding that i clean your room, drive you places and buy your meals" she joked and nudged him lightly just as he pushed her shoulder.
Handing over the book she waited for whatever he wanted to show her, a little feeling of anticipation and excitement hit her. What could they be? It was obviously something really important to him, something that he had to have her opinion on.Hearing him speak she looked up to him, when he said he would like her to have one if she liked them, she did that familiar raised eyebrow look, one of confusion but excitement. She would love to have one of his drawings it would mean a lot to her that he would do that, she could put it on her wall in her dorm and show it off to everyone that her amazing friend had given it to her. When he gave the book back she had a smile on her face, she looked down to the page and her smile completely faded, she was amazed, shocked, happy and sad all at the same time. The pictures were of her, well the blonde vixen, but nevertheless her.It was an exact resemblance and the fact that he had spent so much time on the drawings of her meant he must still care.
Flicking through the pages she let the smile fall back onto her lips, she couldn't help it."Seth, these are.." she couldn't hardly speak, couldn't find the words to say."Amazing, i really don't know what to say" looking up to him she nodded, feeling her eyes water up due to the emotion of sadness, sadness because she missed him and everything they once had."id love to have one.." she said sincerely as she felt an overwhelming urge to hug him and she wasn't resisting, she stepped up on her tip toes just like she always had to and wrapped her arms around his neck,a little bit more than a friendly hug as she held on tight and closed her eyes, taking in the moment, everything she had felt for him in the past just came rushing back, stronger than ever.God she had missed him.

Seth smiled as he watched her and let another chuckle slip from his lips when she started to shake her head at him. The moment right now seemed almost perfect. It was so close. The only thing stopping it from being perfect was the fact that they weren't together. That they weren't dating but then that was his fault. Sure he hadn't been the one to kiss Kristina, she had kissed him but because he had let it happen they had broken up. He couldn't change the fact that, that had happened but he could try to get back on her good side. Make this right with her. That was the main thing on his mind now. Luckily it was working so far, they were laughing and teasing each other. It was great and he had a very good feeling that it would keep getting better. As he continued listing off some things that he had done he noted that she seemed to be in deep thought. Was she thinking about what he was saying or was something else on her mind? He pondered those questions but then nodded when she spoke. "Yeah that would be her" He said with a smile but then couldn't help but to laugh at her next comment. The term she had used was humorous in his opinion. He nodded his head in a joking way, "Well they will be.. eventually. I'm just working my way up, you know me. By the end of the second break I shall be their leader" He joked and placed his hands on his waist making a funny hero pose.
He began to laugh at his own silliness but then slowly stopped as Stephanie started to fill him in on some people that she had met. He nodded his head to show that he had been listening but then stopped. "Jamie?" He repeated in more of a questioning way, "Do you mean Jamie Mackay?" He asked wondering if she had met the same guy that Seth knew. If so then that would be pretty cool. They could hang out together sometime, all three of them. Well of course as long as it was the same person and Steph wanted to hang out again. But once more his thoughts were interrupted by her voice. Although he wasn't complaining. He liked what she had said and liked even more that she had that flirty smile on her face. He hadn't seen it in ages yet it still looked so familiar. He flashed her one of his charming smiles as he spoke, "Well truly I don't think you can find a better club than cbgb." That place was a perfect hang out for teenagers but was special to him. Not only had he had many good times there but that was the place that brought him and Stephanie together. That was where she had first spoke to him, where they shared their first kiss. There were things that had happened there that he would never forget. The memories would last forever.
After she spoke he felt himself starting to bite his lip because if he didn't he'd probably burst out laughing. Her example was hilarious. Once he got control over his laughing he let his jaw drop slightly, "Oh my gosh, I don't know how I would be able to live with the guilt if I ever dropped one of your Gucci shoes." He stated with a serious but mocking tone, "I'd probably break down and cry and beg for your forgiveness" He added letting a small laugh come out. He was really enjoying himself now. It was incredibly awesome and he nodded as her next statement. "Yes, yes I am" He said but then let her continue. He thought about what she had said. "Well... you know a pizza sounds good right now, oh! and some milk along with a chocolate cake!" He said with an enthused tone of voice. "Yeah I want that.. now please!" He added with a smirk. Oh how he missed all of the joking around that they use to do. He had been in withdrawal but now he was getting a full dose of it. If it stopped now he'd be very sad. He wouldn't let it stop he just wouldn't. He'd keep it going for as long as he could.
However as much as he was enjoying the joking around he knew that the conversation would get a little more serious. It was. As soon as he handed her his book which had the pictures of her in it he knew that it had become more serious. Oddly he was okay with that. He wanted her to see the pictures. He wanted her to know that he still cared. Right now he wanted a lot of things, some that he knew that he couldn't have. Although they weren't impossible. The things he wanted were things that could actually happen. Really he'd just have to take a step forward, put some effort into it. That would be all that he'd have to do. Make it happen. If only he didn't get so nervous about things. That was one thing that he hated. It was his downfall. But sometimes he could get over it. Getting rid of his nervousness would just be something that he would have to work on. He would concur it eventually. There was no way he would be nervous forever. He just wouldn't have it.
When she started to speak he could tell that she liked the pictures. She seemed so happy yet shocked, like she had tons of emotions running through her right now. "I'm glad you like them and it doesn't matter which one you take. It's your choice, take the one you like best" He said with a smile when she looked up at him. But then his smile faded and a more concerned look came over his face. Her eyes were watering. Why? Why was this happening? She said she had liked the pictures, had he done something wrong? All of these questions raced through his mind but he tried to ignore them. About to question why she was crying her was surprised as he felt her arms being wrapped around his neck. At first he wasn't sure what to do. Should he resist? Give in? This day was just so confusing. His head said that he shouldn't but his heart and arms didn't agree. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her back. She was holding onto him tight and it felt so good. He kept his arms around her but slowly let them fall down to her waist like how he use to hold her. He leaned his head forward a little so that it was closer to her head. He breathed in slowly, the smell of her sweet perfume filled his lungs. The moment now felt perfect. He didn't want it to end. He had missed her so much, there were many days when he longed to hold her close. Now it was finally happening again, he didn't want to let go.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me' The only thing that could make this moment any more perfect than it already was would be if she stared into those puppy dog eyes of his and kissed him passionately.Of course she wasn't going to do that, a part of her was still a little unforgiving and although it was completely taken over by the part of her that longed for him she was still the same old doubtful Stephanie. They needed to spend more time together, they needed to get this friendship fully back on track first and then see where things went from there.Funnily enough she could still see herself with him, she could picture them together, holding hands, sneaking kisses and just being there for each other.Amazing was one of the words to describe just how she felt at this moment, because she had the one and only boy she had ever truly fell for back in her life and if things went her way her heart wouldn't have to be lonely anymore.
Shaking her head once more when he mentioned his plan she laughed, she couldn't help it, this time a full ,loud laugh when he did his superhero pose.Trying to stop laughing she cupped her mouth with her hand, god she hated that laugh of hers but when she was around Seth it always seemed to escape and there was nothing she could do to stop it.Finally getting over the humor she held out her arms like she was modeling a product as she pointed them in the direction of Seth "Ladies and Gentlemen i give you...Mr Vanity!" she exclaimed and began to giggle to herself. How was it that he could bring out such a childish side to her? Such an immature, fun, crazy side? She loved it, she absolutely loved it.
Hearing him question the name Jamie she frowned a little and nodded "thats what i said.." she replied and smiled slightly, unsure of why he questioned that name.Nodding when he said Jays last name she raised one eyebrow in a questioning manor.Did he know Jamie? It seemed that way, hmm how did the two of them meet then? That meant that when she had the conversation with Jamie and spoke about Seth he knew who he was? Luckily she hadn't mentioned names."How do you know him?" she asked pretty curious.Seeing his charming smile made her curiosities fade, the only thing she focused on were his handsome features as he began to speak."no, i don't think you can" she replied quietly, of course it was just like any other teenage club around, alcohol, smoke, music, dancing but that club, it held special memories. So she was drunk? It was the first night they met, the first time they actually spoke and the next morning was amazing, confessing their feelings and sharing an emotional yet passionate kiss, it was perfect.
Stephanie let herself laugh again, screw it.He had heard her laugh before , he would hear it again it was all good."Well no matter how much id love to see you in an emotional state i don't think id allow you to do that" she smiled sweetly "I would make you take the shoes back to like Italy or something and have them hand fixed by the designer" she smirked, joking of course "oh and you would have to walk there too, no planes" she teased as she laughed once more. Her jaw dropped when he demanded food from her, she raised her eyebrows and placed her hand over her mouth like she was truly shocked "how dare you!" she exclaimed in a serious yet joking tone of voice, moving her hand towards him she did the gesture of slapping him round the face , near his face but she didn't actually touch him.
When he told her to take whichever one she thought was best she shook her head, like that was an impossible choice to make. They were all amazing, she couldn't possibly just choose one, still in shock of what the drawings consisted of she couldn't actually answer him, couldn't reply to his suggestion. So instead she hugged him, giving him a warm more than friendly hug she felt his strong arms wrap around her and at that moment her heart began to race, her head span circles and shivers flew through her body. She didn't want to let go, she had to stay onto him, his body against hers , their warmth shared equally between them. His gorgeous aftershave, his heart beating closely to hers. She just didn't want it to end, it had to end but she didn't want it to.Of course if she held on any longer then it would seem like a romantic hug and no matter how much she wanted that to be true she couldn't let it, not just yet.Not now.Pulling away she let herself keep his arms around her neck for a few seconds as she looked up into his eyes, her cheeks red with lust and embarrassment. She finally moved back, standing like she had been, the book in her hands as she stayed silent.

Looking down at her as she began laughing he smiled. She was showing her reaction to his silly ways and well it was quite funny. He still couldn't really figure out why she hated her laugh so much. It was one of those laughs that made you want to join in, which he was doing. He couldn't help himself. He had to laugh along with her, not only did he find their conversation funny her laugh was just so contagious, not to mention incredibly cute too. It had always been cute in his mind and always would be. Letting his laughter stop he watched as she pointed at him, it looked like she was modeling a product. He raised his eyebrow, giving her a questioning look as he wasn't sure to what she was doing right now but then when she spoke again he let out a small chuckle. "And I thank you" He said jokingly as he bowed slightly pretending that their was a crowd applauding him, "I'll be here all week" He added letting a goofy smile play on his lips as he looked at her. Their conversations were always fun because Seth could act immature and childish, not caring about what other people thought. Sure he hardly ever cared but still, she gave him that odd boost of confidence. Plus he knew that she enjoyed acting this way just as much as he did so it was all good.
When she questioned how he knew him he carefully thought out his answer. "Well our dads use to be friends back in the day so naturally we've met." He stated giving her a little background history, "But now that we are both here we've started hanging out even more, plus he's my roommate" He added with a happy tone. Seth and Jamie had been friends for ages but were now even closer and he was happy about it. Their friendship was pretty awesome since they got along so well plus they had a similar sense of humor and similar personalities. But then another thought crossed his mind, how did they meet? Jamie and Stephanie. That was a question he would like the answer to because he had no idea that the two knew each other, well until now at least. "So how did you meet Jay?" He asked using the same curious tone that she had used when questioning him. He nodded slightly when she spoke about cbgb again. "Although you never know, maybe sometime you and I will find one to replace it.." He said also using a quiet tone as he stared down into her eyes, "After all there's got to be a cool club around here somewheres" he added as he pulled his gaze away from her eyes.
Listening as she began to go on about how she wouldn't let him do that he laughed, "Aww you are just too sweet" He said kindly but then heard her other statement. "No planes? Italy? Okay I'm turning my previous comment about you being sweet into a sarcatic one missy" He said with a joking tone and then let a couple chuckles slip out again. The small chuckles turned into full laughter when she covered her mouth after letting her jaw dropped. "What do you mean? You are my little servent girl, just accept it" He said sticking his tongue out at her right before she pretended to slap him. Oh he was really walking on thin ice with saying that but he couldn't help himself. He was in full joking mode right now and enjoying every second of it. He couldn't just turn if off he was having fun and it's not like she was going to get mad. She knew not to take things seriously around him when he was in a mood like this. No one should take him seriously when he acted like this. You just didn't. Seth could be serious, if it was needed or if he wanted to be but he just wasn't right now.
Holding her in his arms felt amazing. He wasn't sure why this was all happening but he didn't care. He still had tons of feelings for her. Truthfully he was in love but he couldn't say that to her. It would mess things up even more and he didn't want that. That would be the last thing he would ever want. He just wanted things to get better but still. Telling her might make things worse or maybe just maybe they'd become better. It was hard to say. There was a chance that she still liked him too wasn't there? Yeah there was, it was possible. From the way she was still holding onto him tightly it seemed like she did but he couldn't just ask her that. It would be weird. He didn't want to let go but he felt as she slowly pulled away. He looked down into her eyes and smiled a bit as he saw her blushing. The normal Seth would've teased her about that but right now wasn't the time. This wasn't joker Seth it was serious Seth. This wasn't the time for jokes. It just wasn't. When her hands were finally away from his neck he removed his hands from holding her waist. There was a silence between them as they just stood there staring into each others eyes. There were so many things going on in his mind but he didn't know what to say but then some words just came out, "I really missed you.." He said quietly, it was almost a whisper. That was one main thing on his mind at the moment. He just wanted to let her know.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved Watching him bow and act like there was a crowd around to witness their actions she laughed again.Maybe they were receiving strange looks from people around the campus but who really cared? Honestly, she was already a royal it wasn't like she could climb any higher in the social circle and as for any lower well it didn't seem to work like that here, you were in whatever clique you were in and that was that. She applauded him as he took his bow and gave him a swift roll of her eyes as he portrayed his goofy smile, that smile was oh so familiar because there never used to be a time when he wasn't acting his silly self and that smile would always shine through, no matter what the situation and it always seemed to make her smile too.It was like a disease only a good one, something she wished to take from him.
"Have i ever told you how much of a dork you are Seth?" she questioned in a joking tone of voice.Giving her full attention to him she listened carefully as he began to explain how he knew Jamie, it really interested her that he could know the same person as her and the two of them not know about it, talk about fate."Wow, thats crazy isn't it?" she said rhetorically, she was truly amazed."i mean we both know him, yet we didn't know about it.." she then added with a smile.Listening when he mentioned that they were roommates she raised her eyebrows "He never mentioned that to me..i mean you would think he would, then again i don't think we've talked about room mates yet" she said as if she were talking to herself.
How did she meet Jay? It just so happened she met him randomly, some sort of student convention thing at one of the student houses and they just started talking. She loved him ever since, as a friend of course, he always knew how to make her laugh and such.Always there for her too, he was a real sweetheart."We met when i first moved here, some sort of student thing..he just made me laugh straight away though, he gets to see the nice me" she said the last part childishly like it was only a selected few that saw that side of her, true though. When he made the comment about CbGbs she couldn't help but let a smile form, when he said they should find one to replace it she let her mind wander onto what exactly he meant by that statement.Did he mean he wanted them to go out sometime? To find a place where they could basically reenact what happened the first night? She didn't know but she just hoped thats what he meant, that they could go out together, it would be fun, amazing even."Yeah, we should..maybe the weekend or something.." she said , kind of a suggestion but not, if he wanted to then they could.
Stephanie laughed again, when he changed her comment from being sweet to sarcastic, she gave a simple shrug and held her hands out "Well you know me, i learned from the master" she said as she stared at him, basically directing that to him.Once again she pretended to be shocked when he called her his servant girl "oh thats it, you crossed the line there" she stated pretending to be serious, though a smile kept creeping through every now and again.Crossing her arms over her chest she looked away from him, turning slightly to the side to block him from her view as she looked up to the sky, her eyes closed pretending to completely ignore him, a smirk formed across her lips as she did so.
She wanted him.She longed for him.She lusted for him.She LOVED him. Finally admitting it to herself Steph stood there in silence, her cheeks still flustered and hot from the agony of knowing she couldn't stay in his arms. Her brown eyes stayed focused on him, though not into his eyes she didn't want to let him see her emotions.Things kept spinning through her mind, circling her thoughts and taking over everything she was trying to block out.Her heart was beating rapidly and she felt the sudden need to just leave, to just get out of there before she did something stupid, the way she was thinking right now she felt that would be the best option. But then he spoke. His words echoed in her mind as the blonde looked up into his eyes, her face full of happiness and shock. The way he whispered made the hairs on her arms stand on end."i missed you too" she replied, hardly even speaking she practically mouthed the words, it seemed like her voice wasn't working properly.

As he bowed Seth chuckled a little in spite of his actions and because Stephanie was now clapping, like she was applauding him. It was funny, very funny actually. This must've been an odd looking site for all of the people who were passing them by. They were probably all giving them strange looks, well probably they were just directed at him but he didn't care. The moment was amazing, he was with Stephanie. The girl he was in love with. Everything that had happened between them back in high school well he just thought that he'd never see her again after graduation but here he was. Spending time with her, having fun and seeing her laugh, seeing her smile. That smile, that beautiful smile. The one that could make his heart skip a beat. It just had so much power over him. It was strange and amazing all at the same time. Sure he was making himself look like a complete weirdo but he didn't care. He was just glad to be with her again. He wouldn't trade being with her for anything in the world, she meant that much to him.
Thinking about her question he had a grin on his face. He was about to say that he was her dork but stopped. He couldn't. That might make things weird again. No matter how much he wanted to say it he just couldn't. "Well yeah but i'm an awesome dork aren't I?" He stated and raised his eyebrow in a questioning way. That wasn't the response that he wanted to give but it would have to do. At least with that one she'd be admitting that he was awesome. Well if she agreed that is. And she would, well hopefully. Or she'd probably just disagree to tease him. That would probably happen because it was Stephanie Devine after all. Some times she was hard to predict but usually he could. However in this situation it could go either way. He'd just have to wait and see. He nodded in agreement, "Yeah it actually is" He said and returned her smile, "It's pretty cool though" He added but then listened as she started to speak once more. He laughed a little, "It probably just slipped his mind or something, I'm sure you two can go over that eventually" He stated the smile still on his face, "But then who is your room mate?" He asked, she knew who his was so it was just natural for him to ask.
Seth then began to wait patiently as she thought of her answer. When she finally spoke he listened attentively. Hearing her answer he smiled and laughed a bit, "That definitely sounds like Jamie" He said, "But that's cool too and he should feel honored that he gets to see the nice side of you" He added knowing that most people didn't get to see that side of her. Only her friends and him of course. He got to see the nice side of her a lot and he was glad that he did. She was a very sweet girl when she wanted to be and funny too. He felt a bit nervous about what he had said. It just sorta came out and when it did it sounded like he had just asked her out on a date. He hoped that it hadn't freaked her out. That would be bad. But clearly it didn't, or that's what he thought when he heard her answer. "The weekend would be cool" He said with a slight nod of his head. If they went out there together it could be really fun, amazing too. It would be a good time and something to look forward to.
Laughing along with her he nodded, "Yeah true, I can't argue with you there" He said replying to her comment about learning from the master. It was obvious that she had meant him. After all his life was pretty much based on teasing people and joking around. It's what he did. Something he loved. He was good at it and enjoyed it too. "Oh come on" He said, knowing that she was teasing him now. Watching as she turned away from him slightly he moved so that he would be in her vision again. "Forgive me?" He said and began to make a cute pouty face in a joking way. It was his turn to go along with her joke and that was what he was doing. It was quite entertaining. He began to wonder what her reaction to this would be as he kept the pout on his face. "Pleaseeeeeee" He had to laugh at the way he had said please. He sounded like a little kid begging for something from their parents. She'd have to crack a smile at that.
Looking down at her he began to gently bite his lip. He wanted her so badly. More than he could admit. She was just so beautiful, sweet, funny he liked no loved everything about her. All of the emotions that had been bottled up inside of him had arised. They were so close to exploding and coming out into the open. He had to try his hardest to keep them inside of himself. He wasn't sure how long it would last. Keeping them inside was one of the hardest thing that he had to do. He was in love with her. Truly and madly in love with her. Holding her in his arms moments earlier felt amazing. It had only ended seconds ago but he already missed it. When she spoke in such a quiet tone he felt a familiar feeling in his stomach pop up. The way he always use to get when he was around her. He gave a small smile but shook his head slightly, "Not as much as I missed you" He simply replied, barely able to speak now. It felt like he was losing his voice. He wished he could use a normal tone but couldn't. Right now he was stuck with that quiet tone, the almost whisper.

'Ill never turn my back on someone who loved me Love.Love is patient and kind, love is not jealous or boastful, it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way,it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. The biblical definition of the word love.Everything Stephanie was thinking about right now, Seth was patient and kind, Seth wasn't jealous or boastful, he wasn't arrogant or rude.It seemed perfect, that the two of them should be together, everything that she felt inside just seemed to intensify by the million when she looked at him, looked into his eyes and saw his lips form that familiar grin, the way he called himself awesome, well she couldn't really disagree could she? Of course he was awesome but there was that factor deep down in her where she would never admit that."Whatever you say..ill agree now, but you wont ever know if i meant it or not" she teased.
When he mentioned that it probably slipped Jamie's mind that he and Seth shared a room she found it doubtful.Either Jay knew exactly who she had been talking about when she referred to 'the ex' and didn't want to upset her or he just didn't think a conversation about room mates was relevant, hopefully it was the last thing because well she would hope that he would have told her given her feelings."Well yeah i guess.." she said, a doubtful tone hidden deep within her voice.Curling her upper lip when he asked who her room mate was she rolled her eyes , she didn't exactly get on well with the girl and it felt like a torture chamber whenever she had to go back to that room."Sarah Porter" she replied bluntly, poison in her voice as she did so.
Stephanie nodded when Seth spoke about Jamie. It was like everyone knew what kind of guy he was, his outgoing personality, his humor and his wit.But completely blocking out the thoughts of Jamie were the thoughts of her and Seth actually going out together at the weekend.Because he had replied now, said it would be cool and the thought of it sort of sent her a little crazy.Did he really just agree to it? it seemed like she was expecting him to ignore her comment or not take it as a suggestion but it was opposite, he listened, he agreed and now she was a little nervous."Id really like that, but you cant let me down..youve basically just sold your soul to me" she smiled trying to lighten the situation a little just like he always did in times of awkwardness.
Keeping her head faced away from him she began to tap her foot like she was expecting an apology, with her arms crossed tightly over her chest she couldn't help but crack a small smirk when he began to beg for her forgiveness.Hearing him say please like a small child she finally let the smirk fade into a smile."mhmm" was all she said, wanting him to full on apologize, ok so maybe she was letting the power of the situation go to her head but honestly she was loving it, she had him in the palm of her hand during this little joking marathon and she wasn't letting him go,not just yet.
Right now there were no words to describe how she was feeling. For one she was completely and totally in love with him.Not once in the nineteen years of her life had she ever felt this way about someone, not that she was complaining, some people never find that one person they can depend on, that one person to be there for them no matter what, their soul mate. But it seemed like Steph had found hers, simply because she was head over heels for him back in high school and when they broke up it was the hardest time of her life and now they were reunited, well that had to mean something, it just had to.Fate was on her side.Smiling sweetly and shyly when he spoke again she took in his words, took them in like they were the last things she was ever going to hear, her heart continued to beat fast as she bit her lower lip in anticipation."i wouldn't count on it" was all she replied, her voice still quiet, her mind wondering where this was going next.
